    I'd have agree with AleanderWaverly on this one. After all she is the MAIN villain of the piece and not a henchman. (Go figure, I can't get spell check to let me replace "man" with "woman" in regards to "Hench".)

    I , for one, was instantly immersed into that Cold war drama setting. And I never honestly try to put the faces of Mr. Vaughn nor Mr. McCallum in lieu et place of their modern counterparts, Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer.

    I guess some die hard U.N.C.L.E fans will scream in rage at the new Illya Kuryakin (who is first presented as a bully-type character but then mellows into a nice individual of his own. The Russian accent is much more pronounced than in the TV series of course , but Illya finally appears as a much more interesting character than dapper Napoleon Solo. It reminds me in place of the Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Red Heat police officer: subtle and unstoppable as a T80 soviet Tank, but with a very big heart and sense of friendship.

    Alicia Vikander is a great Female element. She frequently conjures images of Audrey Hepburn, and her interaction with both Hammer and Cavill is genuine and quite fun . Miss Vikander is quite a feisty girl indeed.

    As for the music, no classic UNCLE theme heard anywhere but a very 1960s type style , à la John Barry.

    Can’t wait to see the final version of the movie .

    I am really excited for this film. I think Warner Brothers have a potential hit on their hands.

    Great to see that at least some people are showing the master his just respect. I can't wait for this film and its music, but I'm pretty sure Newman is going to nail it for SP......his reputation will depend on it.

    I hope you're right. I wasn't impressed with Newman's work on SF save for a couple of tracks.

    The only tracks from SF are ones that Newman did not do. I get the feeling that the UNCLE score is in the vein of "Ipcress File". Kudos.

    This movie is going to be massive. I.....I seriously have a feeling this could do much better at the box office than many people think right now....

    WHAT a trailer!!! I'm gonna like this so much more than "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation"

    That moment with Cavill cutting the barbed fence with his scissors and Hammer with that laser reminded me of that scene in DAD where Bond could have used his laser watch to cut through the fence.

    "The Man From UNCLE" was the 3rd most popular movie on the San Diego ComicCon. It was even more popular than "X-Men: Apocalypse", "Fantastic Four", "Maze Runner 2" and the animated film "Peanuts":

    I have a feeling that we have another surprise box office hit on our hands....And names like Henry Cavill and Guy Ritchie will help their fanbases to see this film (DC Comics fans included).

    It's quite a thing nowadays with franchise films: Creating 'universes'. And the funny thing is, it was 'Star Trek' who actually started this tradition. I love it by the way, it gives more possible depth to franchise-films like James Bond, Marvel, Mission: Impossible and DC Comics.

    Not an expanded universe. But....A universe. Since "Casino Royale" chronology has become way more important to the Bond franchise. It is as if Daniel Craig's Bond is living in a complete new timeline where all Bond films from 1962 - 2002 never seemed to happen. It's really his own...'universe'.

    There were sporadic attempts in the earlier Bond movies to do this. The Maibaum-Hopkins script for Thunderball had a reference to Rosa Klebb in the SPECTRE board meeting scene, but it wasn't used.
