Just picked up Mission Impossible: Fallout in 4k, and it looks fantastic.
    The Imax sequences are stunning.

The free fall sequence is something else (score is off the chart) and the helicopter chase is awesome, before I watched the IMAX version I was hoping the Paris bike chase would be in IMAX too that would have been even more awesome...shame.

I am still waiting for the IMAX version of Ghost Protocol on 4K disk, I fear we will never get it.

I didn't know they'd used any Imax cameras on that one. The Hotel climbing
sequence would look even more impressive.

I deleted my original post because it was in the wrong thread.

The last movie I bought was David and Bathsheba (1951).

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - GHOST PROTOCOL Features 30 Minutes of Footage Shot in IMAX

The Burj Khalifa sequence was shot in IMAX, for years I have checked now and then to see if Paramount will release that version on home video. Its a great scene anyway though it would look even more spectacular in IMAX on 4K.

    Watch this...

    (Watch it on your TV)

It's was Brad Birds decision not to include the IMAX scenes on Bluray...

It's been years since I jumped in my seat in the cinema, but I did it
with The Burj Khalifa sequence. When Tom is cutting the glass and falls !
A stunning bit of filmmaking, In fact I doubt they'll ever top that stunt.

I did the same I rewatched the sequence after I posted on here on my TV, Tom is crazy even with wire work my vertigo would be going haywire. In IMAX the details of the reflections on the windows is something else.

    Surprise, surprise !

    Wonder-Woman-1984-Blu-ray.jpg

Given that, due to CoVid restrictions, the movie failed to appear in theaters in France, I was surprised to find it at the local mall.

After the disappointment of the french edition, I had decided to buy the british uncut blu-ray. Didn't regret it. Something strange, though : The packet was delivered today, on Easter sunday. Strange. Not that I complain, mind you, but I could have waited until tuesday, it was not that urgent.

A word of warning... MGM's Sabata 3-DVD set has audio issues on the first -- and best -- film. About halfway through the movie the audio goes out of sync. Sound effects are about a half-second behind. This renders the film unwatchable.

This was never corrected by MGM. It wasn't until Kino released SABATA on Blu-ray that the issue was fixed.

What can I say ? I've always been a sucker for a Fred Astaire movie. And the presence of Eleanor Powell doesn't hurt either.

    Love them.
Was tempted to buy the box set, but they are on TCM so often!!
    Rutherford is a delight!
One of my favourite music themes too!
