Only managed to see it once in the cinema, so looking forward to watching it again!
Both will be a first viewing.
Ah yes, the Donna Reed vs. Lana Turner fight of the century! :D
That film has quite the cast, in addition to Reed and Turner, you have Van Heflin (always enjoyable) and Santa himself...Edmund Gwenn.
I know Gwenn mostly from his role as Dr. Harold Medford in the sci-fi film THEM! At least he didn't get eaten by a giant monster like his cousin Cecil Kellaway in The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms =))
Can't wait to watch this one! Should be in my mailbox this weekend!
Hasn't shown up yet. I ordered this one as well.............
And I found that :
Don't let the sleeve jacket fool you : this is a super special 3 discs edition, with the theatrical cut, the director's cut, and the soundtrack, and a lot of bonus. And the inside cover is better :
Let the shopping commence. :))
You can add John Barry to that, who admitted they were his least favourite musicians to work with!
The band said they didn't know he would be taking a writing credit, and they made a decision as a group to ignore everything he told them. Luike they'd smile and nod and then ignore him. They say they even manipulated the orchestra to play some things their way and not John's way...
Dollars Trilogy on Bluray. I already own The Good the Bad and the Ugly on Bluray (I must have 4 copies of TGTBATU now) though the others only DVD, looking forward to revisiting the films.
Been looking for this for years. Great film.
The SHAFT (1971) Criterion also includes the sequel SHAFT'S BIG SCORE, and the film print quality for both films appears to be top notch.
The Prince of Egypt (1998) € 6,67 (3 for € 20,00)
At Eternity's Gate (2018) € 6,67 (3 for € 20,00)
Reminiscence (2021) € 6,66 (3 for € 20,00)
Ready or Not (2019) € 6,99
Sherlock Season 3 - 2 Disc Spindel Boxset with sleeve. € 1,95
All together now :
"Flash ! Ah Ah ! Saviour of the Universe !
Flash ! Ah Ah ! He'll save everyone of us !"
Inspired by my exchange with @Creasy47 earlier, I decided I need this in my collection. By far my favourite Aronofsky movie.
That's the spirit! I need to get on this one sooner rather than later then.
I have the 4K remaster it looks fantastic, great score one of the earliest Albums I bought.
Having only owned it on dvd, the bluray release got very bad reviews, so I waited for the poibility of a special edition release. This package looks very comprehensive, with the 4k disc, there is posters, postcards and a booklet! Looking forward to getting this!
