The Dark Knight Rises and Armegeddon :)>-

I already owned Armageddon, but I recently made this model
    <a href="http://s46.beta.photobucket.com/user/chrisisall/media/SANY4680.jpg.html"; target="_blank"><img src="http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f110/chrisisall/SANY4680.jpg"; border="0" alt=" photo SANY4680.jpg"/></a>
and was so revved up after, I got the Criterion edition of the movie. It's cool; extra scenes, higher bit-rate (nicer picture).

I just bought the Ultimate edition of TMWTGG on DVD because I was tired of the dirt scratches from the print in the SE edition. :))
    Skyfall is next, soon. :)>-

In the Netherlands, where I live, we don't get it until March 6th, so by comparison you are lucky ;)

  • The Bourne Identity on bluray, my favourite of the trilogy, its a well shot movie and not plagued by too much shaky cam.

The Bourne Trilogy on Blu-ray is great. I kid you not, when I first got it I watched one of the three each day for weeks.

I had troubles with both 'Supremacy' and 'Ultimatum': they started to lag and skip. I haven't tried them out since. Got halfway through 'Ultimatum' and it was unbearable.

It's an issue with the discs for sure; mine run brilliantly.

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, granted, they were all the separate re-released blu-ray editions, and I got them from Wal-Mart. Might have to exchange them some day.

Get this if you have the chance:

It's the best way to watch the THREE films in the entire series. Not FOUR, THREE.

Just picked up used Blu-Ray copies of The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man at Blockbuster for about $10 a piece. Not in love with either film, but the price was nice.

Indiana Jones blu-ray boxset (sold my DVD boxset via Amazon Marketplace) also used up my HMV vouchers and bought the restoration version of The Life And Death Of Colonel Blimp, another Powell & Pressburger masterpiece! (nice piece on the restoration by Lord Martin of Scorsese).
Oh, and Skyfall's on it's way…well 18th of this month!

Managed to get it of ebay, as Warner don't post the Archive Collection to the UK due to some laws (I think). :-?

Bond 50 all the bond movies in one place

It came with SF? Sadly not.

I just didn't like the packaging for the films, which is why I bought the separate re-release blu-rays.

That guy in the center looks like Channing Tatum

  • Next with Nic Cage, i tend to find most of his films watchable, even the terrible ones. Next was not a bad film to be honest, though its based on The Golden Man by Phillip K. Dick, i do like my sci fi. Bought it on Dvd for £1.50.
