The Good the Bad and the Ugly On BD, can't believe it's taken so long.

    It s good. Just good.

(Only bad thing is probably the car seen in the background during one scene)

Always liked the film brilliant score, I thought about getting the Dollars trilogy box set though decided to buy separately.

Another great film from Russell Mulcahy. Good to see the film in its original aspect ratio, my DVD version was hacked to bits.

Wonder Woman front and centre, nice, but I didn't think her role was very big. Am I wrong?

    What makes it 'ultimate' ?

It features director's cut with characters that weren't in the movie (well...I think there's only one big character - Jena Malone which some speculate she may be Barbara Gordon) and combined with random featurettes, BTS and stuff like that this is why it's the Ultimate Edition.

But mostly for the 20mins+ extra footage that didn't end up on the film, there's also a trailer for it

No, but it's a very wise marketing move.

Leon is an excellent movie together with le Femme Nikita some of the better movies about killers.

I should add the original La Femma Nikita to my 'to watch' list. I have seen the US remake (The Assassin) and the US tv series of the same name. Leon, however, is one of the best assassin films, along with The Day Of The Jackal.

The French version is really grim and dark but a very good movie that was copied by the US in movie and 2 tv-series. Which tells you all how strong a concept Luc Besson launched.

I'm in a Star Trek mood so I decided to buy the originals. I've only seen each one once with the exception of The Search For Spock, which I've only seen the last 10 or so minutes.

I happened to also come across this. I've always wanted to see it but never got around to it and I've heard nothing but good things. I couldn't pass up this good looking steel case so I went ahead and bought the last copy.
