I love most of them, but if i had to pick only one, it would probably be -
    'You Only Live Twice'..

Disagree totally, G&R's version is brilliant and quite faithful with a little of their style thrown in. Of course, unless you don't like G&R to begin with...

I love the Guns n Roses version. Maybe I'm biased because I love them as a band but I think it might be even better than the original.

Well, I don't know I'd go that far, but past the fact that G&R covered the original, I love both versions equally and love hearing them both, even if I am very down on Axl and the HOF debacle. Of course, if you ever spent any time with the guy like I have, you'd know he's a schizoid wackjob with a lot of personal demons I don't think he's yet to have conquered, but then I haven't hung with him for about 20 years now so...

The GnR version is great. It rocks a lot harder than the original. Plus Axl puts a whole different twist on the vocal. I also love Slash's slide solo mimicking the strings in the original. I can't say one version is better than the other. But GnR certainly shows how you do a cover right-- It also says something that when McCartney plays LALD live now in concert he goes for the more beefed up approach ala GNR.

I would have to say 'Live and Let Die'. It's incredibly catchy.

Goldfinger!!! Classic Bond, and Bessy's bettter than the Beatles. Nobody does it better was good, but puts me to sleep, and while I love TWINE and You know my name, I feel like Goldfinger is more iconic as a Bond song.

See, I don't think Goldfinger is that good. I think Bassey is a good singer, but in GF, she just seems to be screaming. DAF was better.

my favorites in top 5 order

    1.The living daylights
    2.Goldeneye
    3.You only live twice
    4.Die another day
    5.License to Kill

but ya my most favorite is Aha's living daylights. something about it is just awesome.

but my favorite soundtrack is TWINE, I love Renards Song aka "only myself to blame performed by scott walker ".

Live and Let Die is the best James Bond song ever, there's no room for debate

If Bassey was allowed three attempts at getting it right then why didn't they ask Paul McCartney and Wings back for a second brilliant score?, they could of made The Spy Who Loved Me or For Your Eyes Only so much better.. 8-|

I'd be easier to list those I don't like - Madonna.
Oh, and I can live without Jack White's effort too!

    For me it is:
    1- Gold-fin-gahhh

and the close second unfortunately isn't really a title song:
2- We Have All The Time In The World

An excellent choice nonetheless! It's also essentially the other main theme of OHMSS, and it's the one with lyrics too, so I'd say it counts. ;-)

Also really love Coldplay's version and the instrumental by John Barry just great music.

British singer "Robbie Williams", also does a really great rendition of YOLT. Check it out sometime dude

Lang did the end credits for TND, Crow did the actual Title song, there is a bit of a difference, as in 1989 and Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle for instance

I think Daylights was the first to do this, but I quite like The Pretenders 'If there was a man'

What is the LondonMusicHub and how do they know the song has been recorded? Do they also state who it's performed by, Buttons?

Really though the only thing Robbie used for Millenium was the music, the lyrics had nothing to do with YOLT. In the video though he's doing his best Bond impression.

Willams & Guy Chambers only used the string arrangement from YOLT on Millenium, nothing else!!! Getting the green light to use just the string arrangement was hard enough, Barry was not keen at all and in fact disliked the unoriginal approach of such workings, he'd rather "Pop" stars compose there own material rather than copy/sample!?
Although the royalties such song bring in compensates that somewhat!! :-B

The London music hub is utterly unreliable, and has no insight into whats going on with the SkyFall song!! It's a work in progress, but almost done, Thomas Newman arrives in June to start recording the score/song in London, at Air Stuidos I believe!!! :-B

Thunderball for me, since I'm a classic Bond guy, but You know my name from Casino Royale is fantastic, and every time I see the Madmen Opening credits piece I think, "Heyyyy!"

I gotta say SKYFALL is up there for me now...

Also I'm a fan of this mix, very subtle, mellow mix.

Can't pick just one, but I love TND (Surrender- KD Lang), DAF, TLD, & TWINE.

If I have to choose just one, it would be You Know my Name.
