Film Locations

Hi all

I've had the hobby of hunting out film locations for a few years now and as a Bond fan I've visited as many of those as I can from Goldfinger, Moonraker, A View to A Kill, O.H.M.S.S., Skyfall and Spectre to name a few.

Bond aside I'm sure I've visited a few other places for other movies many might like so I thought I'd post about it to see if anyone else did anything like this?

If yes it would be good to say "hello" and/or follow on social media. That aside if anyone wanted to know where any of those locations are and wanted precise details then let me know.

I have two formats, my preferred size which I have uploaded on my personal website: http://filmlocationhunter.co.uk/

I also had to create another version for Instagram to fit into their image specifications which you can see here: https://www.instagram.com/justin_wilkinson/

That is very impressive @007bondUK. I learned a lot from going through your photos. Tremendous dedication on your part. I didn't realize Carla Bruni was in Midnight in Paris (I recognized her straight away from the photo and looked it up). Must check that out sometime.

If I could make a suggestion it would be to include the location description so that we know exactly where these were taken (some are obvious of course but I'm referring to the more obscure settings).

    Hi there

I've used a mixture of cameras over the years and none of which capture GPS location details. Once back home I edit them and create my final version as you can see on my main website and as part of this process I find the GPS location and embed it into my Photoshop file using Lightroom.

This is the best way as I can near enough provide the exact location because even with a description sometimes I am miles from the nearest reference point and it's difficult to explain exactly how to get there.

I wanted to add this into my Instagram posts as it would then link to a map but since I am using an emulator to run the Instagram app to post directly from my PC it won't allow me to do this :/

What I have done it post hashtags for the location details as much as possible.

Hope this helps and if there was a particular location you were interested in then let me know and I can send you all I know about it.
