Oh, don't worry. I will. My parents keep telling me that perhaps it's just a matter of switching medications. I have an appointment with someone who specializes in epilepsy on January 8. I will keep you all updated on that day.
Please take comfort in the following:
1) Seizures aren't life threatening.
2) They do not affect life expectancy.
3) Brain damage isn't possible either.
So, while it may be scary for you - and it definitely is frightening for me - there is absolutely nothing to be worried about in the long run. A minor headache is there. Sure. That's to be expected, as I have heard that's quite normal. I assure you that after a good night's rest, I will be in top notch shape!
Again, please don't worry for me! That's the last thing I want.
Regards,
Justin Litke
;) :D
Thank you!
All th Best.
The seizures seem to be coming from the rear of my brain, where vision is housed, which explains why I see things immediately before one.
What's also back there is my shunt. The working theory is too much scar tissue. Now it's just a matter of finding the right dosage of pills.
Also, I was told of a patient that recites lines of Harry Potter to keep hers at bay. And another whose seizures were triggered by his father's neckties.

What I meant was that I don't think I'd heard about that particular one.
Ugh.
Sad to near it. Hope you're feeling better now.
Oh, definitely. 5 months this time as compared to two all the others. I'm sure this will result in a higher dose of Keppra, but all I want is for them to stop! I don't care what they have to do.
