Ha ha! My favourite line from the first film!
Not the gore, but more of the Mick Taylor character.
Ezxept fot you, that is.
The Mick Taylor character is also horribly real, played so well by Jarratt.
I also liked the slow build up of the film and the eerie expanse of Wolf Creek itself.
I thought the sequel was worthless and looked like one of Wolf Creek's own imitators.
Didn't know there was a TV series.
The second film says it is too. There's more of a Bradley Murdoch element to it. I'm sure we all remember that case from July 2001.
This is what really is disturbing about the piece! Also why I wanted to watch it above all else!
It is a difficult watch, certainly. Not usually the sort of thing I'd go in for had my friend not introduced me to it.
Of course. He kind of insisted. I felt compelled to watch by the knife at my throat.
Correct. Too scary now.
"Shot!"
As these are make believe creatures, so are fun. Where as these Serial Killer
type movies, have and could happen. Which she finds unsettling
I can see her point of course, but their reality makes them much more interesting to me as a true crime fan. I don't like things to be too fantastical generally speaking. I know, this coming from a Bond fan, but I'm sure you get what I mean.
read loads of the old True Crime magazines, which had some really
disturbing cases in them. There are Monsters out there but they're all
Human.
Wolf Creek 3 plot synopsis: “An American family takes a dream trip to the Australian outback and soon draws the attention of notorious serial killer Mick Taylor. A hellish nightmare ensues as the couple’s two children escape only to be hunted by Australia’s most infamous killer.”

You're a braver man than I! Those films have put me off visiting Australia for life! :D
