GE. But not by much at all. I love MR
@Birdleson Yes that's right - did you collect the cards that came with them? Here in the UK I don't remember the bubblegum packets being available, but we did have packets of 'pretend' candy cigarettes that came with photo cards. Wish I had kept them all now!
AND
MR without a doubt!!
And
GE
GE, despite Boris.
GE over MR, just barely.
GE
and
MR vs GE
GE over MR
YOLT
GE
@Shardlake, YOLT is not in this round. Do you mean GE or MR?
As for me, this is another easy round.
GF over TLD
MR over GE
GE - I enjoy MR a lot - but GE wins this one.
As long as I love TLD I slightly prefer GF. The second one is easy since I consider MR the second worst Bond ever, even tho the efforts they put in it are amazing.
GE over MR
GE
Apologies
TLD
GE
GE. Not close. While I don’t hate MR (I save that degree of vile for DAD), the pacing of the movie often strikes me as overkill. It suffers from the “If two sight gags are funny, lets’ give them three…no…make that four” issue IMO.
MR. My favorite of the post-1960s Bond films that followed the GF-style formula/blue print approach.
GE- one of my favourites against one of my least favourites. Nuff said.
GE (also close)
GE beats MR 22-7
And now films from the last four decades, with entries seventeen years apart.
Round 123:
AVTAK vs DAD
and
GE vs SF
Same here. The first match is close, the second a slaughter.
SF edges out GE
GE
GE over SF
and
GE
The last one is easy for me, despite both films being really strong entries in the series. Why GE wins? It has a much stronger finale IMO, two iconic Bond girls and stuff just makes more sense. SF has the better Bond and theme song, though, but only slightly. Still, overall, GE wins.
