Let s do another Connery/Moore round as these matches are naturally the most numerous, this time ten films apart.
Round 64:
DN vs MR
and
GF vs OP
GF over OP
Both comfortably.
GF over OP
MR and OP can be some fun, but Connery’s classics are near-unbeatable.
GF
DN
GF
OP
Allthough GF is iconic and probably the better film, I simply enjoy OP a little bit more. Both are very close in my ranking.

OP
GF
GF, but it's very close.
GF

DN vs MR - A no brainer for me. Although I find MR extremely entertaining and respect it for being the logical conclusion of what Harry and Cubby started in 1962, their first film is a pure classic, and is more along the lines of where I hope Bond will return post-Craig for a restart.
GF vs OP - a very difficult choice for me. I respect GF for its iconic status, and for creating the template structure which has made Bond a phenomenon for 50+ years. However, I just far prefer the pacing, action and overall story of Roger's penultimate effort, despite its many flaws.
GF

OP
Make mine a double Connery would you?
DN trumps MR. And despite my love for OP, GF beats that one as well.
OP
And
GF.
MR
and
OP
Very close indeed. This also indicates that one person more or leass can decide a lot and it may depend in the end on how long exactly a certain round takes. One could avoid such a thing by defining a victory when one film reaches a certain number of votes (e.g. 13).
GF beats OP 15-9
After a couple Connery vs Moore rounds, here they are up against themselves, the second most numerous combination. This time three films and six years apart.
Round 65:
TB vs DAF
and
TSWLM vs OP
TSWLM vs. OP - A much closer battle for me, both featuring sublime performances by Rog. Once again, the earlier decade scores a decisive win though on account of its distinctive style and the famous iconic elements in what is unquestionably one of the best Bond films.
DAF is the outrageously silly one and possibly, for that reason alone, also the more interesting one. However, technically speaking, TB is a far more competently made, better acted, more "Flemingian" Bond film. It brings the spectacle as well as the exotism. These two alone are enough to beat DAF to a pulp.
OP
I really like that film. TSWLM is an exceptionally impressive film but something draws me towards OP.
TSWLM over OP
OP is good, but TSWLM is near perfection.
