We are already some days into the Olympic event from Pyeungchang. Norway and Germany are expected to battle it out for being the most succesfull nation, but the Americans surely want to have their say in that contest!

This is where to go if you want to discuss the Olympics.

    Was watching the snowboarding earlier.
Canadian Max Parrot...I wonder if his parents were FYEO fans.

A few sensational results today. Kruger wins his first tournament medal and only second victory after turning professional, in the 30k skiathlon. Norway captured all the medals.

In biathlon, the huge favorites Johannes Bø and Martin Fourcade, both completely bottled it, giving Germany's Arndt Peiffer a very surprising win.

Norway have collected an impressive nine medals so far, but Germany are still top of the list with their three Gold medals.

I found one image of a Blue and Gold Max Parrot. The real macaw, you could say, @Benny.

Haven't seen any competitions yet. With the events being early in the day or at night, it makes it difficult to watch most of the Winter Olympics live. Will be interesting to see if Johannes Høsflot Klæbo can get some medals during the Olympics. He's been really impressive so far this season. Usually follow ski jumping closer than biathlon, so it was fun to see both Robert Johansson and Johann André Forfang winning medals so early in the Olympics.

He's probably still hunting Bond in the woods. Understandable.

I also couldn't spot Bond in the ski jumping competition.

Germany surprisingly winning the gold medal in biathlon yesterday. But it was even more surprising that German luger Felix Loch lost the save gold medal in the last seconds of the competition.

Another gold medal for Martin Fourcade today in biathlon. His main challengers from the Norwegian team, seem to have hit terrible shape in shooting. One of the main favorites, Johannes Thingnes Bø, has missed 10 times out of 30 shots the last couple of days, an absolute horrible record! As a Norwegian, I hope he manages to correct this over the coming days...

Still there are chances for a Norwegian gold today, if Lundby can deliver during the women's ski jump competition.

I know! That was great! :)

There has been quite a lot of Norwegian favorites that for various reasons have failed to deliver so far. Nice that she managed to pull it off on the day.

Indeed, a great effort! Didn't she fall in the training jump yesterday?

Some Russians are competing as team OAR - Olympic Athletes From Russia.
    Including the mixed curling team

The OIC went with a compromise instead of an outright ban, since they didn't find it fair to those who weren't caught doping in the past. So, anyone who could prove they weren't cheating/doping were allowed to compete, only if they went under the OAR designation: Olympic Athlete from Russia.

Couldn't have done it better! Looked like he had a couple more gears if needed, too.

Watching some replays now. Looks more impressive each time you see him gain those meters up the hill before going dow to the stadium!
