Hence he calls anything unflattering to himself "fake news" at best and "the enemy of the people" at worst. Free speech is his enemy, not the people's.

I do see your correlation with, what Trump calls "fake news". Unfortunately, "fake news" has been around since "news" was created. Trump is old and rich enough to call it out and challenge false/biased reporting solely designed for boosting ratings and airtime (a la Elliot Carver). Remember how unfairly 'journalists' treated the likes of Princess Diana, and Michael Jackson, for decades, just to name a few. And they got away with it. Not what I'd classify as the 'peoples news'.
And thus the false and biased news in his favor is right because it paints over the truth.
That applies to everyone, not just Trump. Time you moved on, you're now straying to far out...of this thread.

Lincoln? A canny, cunning politician, not above the cut and thrust of everyday politics but still able to steer a clear course with a steady vision. He saved the US and helped end the shameful crime of slavery, although the country and South in particular are still a very long way from having faced up to its legacies.
Jimmy Carter seems a very decent man - perhaps the most upright and moral person to have held the office. He was undone by one unfortunate military mishap - he made a sound call, something went wrong on the mission and he lost the next election. Politics is crazy. But his legacy is greater than many realise - his farsighted policies helped kick start silicon valley and the tech revolution.
FDR obviously a legend for having helped defeat fascism and save the free world. Not sure his 4 terms in office reflects all that well on him but I suppose it was an exceptional moment in history.

All tax cuts favor the rich, no way of getting around that. Btw, system knows that's its the rich/investors, who create jobs, not poor or middle class. Who in turn pay taxes to fund social services. Can't penalize them for that.
Untrue, but then so is everything else you say. Trump PROMISED that his tax cuts would favor the middle class & hurt the rich. He lied.
He reduced the tax rates, that's a fact. He never said "hurt the rich". That's making stuff up to vent your sore loss, for Hillary. Unlike "you can keep your doctor.....Obama lied, big time. But most turn blind eye to all what Obama did, or didn't do, just like the media and all who believe what CNN say as gospel.
Anything that didn't come to pass regarding Obamacare came from the right fighting peopels' rights to afford health care. That's not a lie. You should stop taking what Fox News says as gospel.
One problem with Trump is that his lies are consistently inconsistent. He just pulls whatever nonsense feels right at the time out of his @$$ and states it as if it were fact, and Faux Fox News just says "yupyupyup..." and after a while it's hard to keep up with which lie was which. Nonetheless, it is stone cold fact, that at several points in the recent past, Trump has promised that his tax plans would benefit the middle class at the expense of himself and people like him.
