For me, that's a bit of a worry, and part of what tonally hurt SP. Craig's more serious films, first three, suit him better IMO.

The ending sounds like it’s serious though. I think the “silly” thing comes from the playful stuff like the Cuba sequence looks to have and generally being a large scale, global annihilation Bond film which I guess is a bit inherently silly.
Maybe he fatally slips on a banana peel.
