Decided to make no transfers this week, sticking with my team and benching Grealish which means I will have 9 players on Double GW's. Players with single GW's still very capable of out scoring players with doubles, plus I want to bank a transfer for the next GW.

The first double gameweek out of several is behind us, and it's great to see some high scores in our league yet again. Best of us all was Ayew Crazy!, with impressive 108 points and a gameweek and a gameweek rank of 3 695! Not a bad score when playing the Bench Boost. Congratulations! =D>

Sounds like a smart plan. I got two free transfers myself, and I know I will use one of them. But I might end up from anything between making a single transfer to taking hits - all depending on team news. I really need to target this double gameweek.

One for the BB as it might be the last game packed gw for the season ?

It's the only chip I have left, still not hundred per cent sure what I am going to do. I need to sit down and calculate what players I will have for the following GW, hopefully I will have time to do that tomorrow.

Remember there's another (double) gameweek on Saturday, 11:00 UK time!

    _______
Decided to make no transfers this week, sticking with my team and benching Grealish which means I will have 9 players on Double GW's. Players with single GW's still very capable of out scoring players with doubles, plus I want to bank a transfer for the next GW.

Sounds like a smart plan. I got two free transfers myself, and I know I will use one of them. But I might end up from anything between making a single transfer to taking hits - all depending on team news. I really need to target this double gameweek.

Even though Bamford and Dallas have a single GW, they are at home to a depleted Villa, I don't want to bench either of them to be honest.

It's another challenging gw for sure.
One for the BB as it might be the last game packed gw for the season ?

I used my BB though thinking Triple Captain.

I used my Triple Captain last year.

It's the only chip I have left, still not hundred per cent sure what I am going to do. I need to sit down and calculate what players I will have for the following GW, hopefully I will have time to do that tomorrow.

It's a good week to use it.

Well I have made two transfers which includes a hit, so my whole team plays twice. The two transfers one is a bit left field though there recent form has been excellent. The other is a gamble really a player I recently sold, though I think there is potential for one clean sheet maybe even two with said player.

My Captain choice is a gamble certainly this season though going with my gut on this one.

Sounds like decent moves. Left field picks and gambles are necessary sometimes to gain rank.

I'm on a hit as well – partly as a hunch for this gameweek, and partly with gameweeks ahead in mind. Playing the Bench Boost as well.

Sterling benched, trust Pep to start off this insane GW with a major headache for some managers.

My rank is in serious trouble with so many bench boosts.

Here are the gameweek 26 captaincy picks!
    Fernandes: 5
    Salah: 3
    Kane: 3
    Son: 2
    Martial: 1
    De Bruyne: 1
    Vardy: 1
    Gündogan: 1
    Barnes: 1

Fernandes is the most captained player in our league this gameweek, with games against Chelsea and Palace. Salah, Kane and Son are the only other players captained by more than one manager, with games against Sheffield United/Chelsea and Burnley/Fulham. Good luck everyone!

My rank is in serious trouble with so many bench boosts.

There were some FPL managers that had a hunch Sterling might be benched, and their reasons for believing so were enough to make me not consider him for the Bwnch Boost. He will no doubt be a good option going forward though. Cancelo benched too, but I expected he would be in one of the two fixtures.

I'm playing the Bench Boost, but not confident it will pay off. I just don't see a better gameweek to play it, so I had to go for it.

City conceding probably not making much difference as most people will have there defenders, Dias scoring again he must be one of the most highly owned players. I think Captaincy picks will make or break this GW certainly for me. I may be lucky to get a green arrow this time.

A lot of managers will own one of Dias or Stones, so those two scoring won't make much difference I think. Cancelo too, so him getting benched isn't the worst thing to happen (but annoying of course).

I think it will be a tricky gameweek, with so many captaincy options that can do well. Many have chips in play as well, but as we know with FPL, there's no guarantee that playing a chip will bring in many points. A higher average is to be expected though.

Difficult to predict that he would get a 10-pointer though!

I tried all kinds of ways of getting Barnes this gameweek, but couldn't find the funds needed. He was the right player to target though, so it's a shame it didn't work out for you, bringing him in.

I think after this GW it's caution to the wind for me, I am losing ground.

Sometimes that is what's needed to turn a season around. I find this season so difficult to get right. There's been some good gameweeks recently, though I doubt it will continue this way. Not the best start with the Bench Boost either; need some more points from Targett, Pope and hopefully Lookman.

You are doing well, last few weeks I have made bad moves.

Already sold Barnes for a player who is playing on the Blank GW, a risk to get them in early though Barnes price will drop and apparently out for 6 week. I should have got Son in, that was in my thoughts.

I think your transfers have made sense on paper, they just haven't worked out. Smart transfers in the upcoming gameweeks can change things for you though.

My original plan was to get Son in for this gameweek too, but I changed things up to get Kane instead. So far, it looks like I should have gone for Son instead.

Fine margin for success and failure in FPL, this season has been easily the worst of the three with regards to injurys and bad luck. Admittedly fixture congestion will be contributing to that.

Indeed. This season is really challenging to navigate. I've been trying to plan ahead 4-5 gameweeks at the time, but I have to adjust my plans almost every week, because of injuries, form or rearranging of fixtures.

I think I gave up forward planning early season, not even checked how many players I have for the next Double GW.
