We need some players back.
Klopp: Salah not fit to face Forest; Nunez, Szoboszlai back training
________
We have a few more hours to get our teams ready this weekend, with the deadline today at 13:30 UK time!
12 points from Emerson isn't bad, though!
With Erling scoring 5 goals, it's hard to look past him for the captaincy this gameweek…
Sad end to his career for sure, if this is the final verdict. Haven't followed the case too closely, but it was performance enhancing drugs, right?
Really want a fit Solanke for this gameweek, but I can't chance he doesn't start, so I've been forced to replace Hwang after one game played…
I bet I'll regret mine too, haha!
Sold Estupiñán for a hit, as he's been an issue in my team – only for him to start a game for once!
We have six different captaincy picks this gameweek, and although most have looked to Haaland for the captaincy, four managers have backed Watkins to deliver against Luton. Saka and Salah are the only other players backed by more than one manager – and we now know Salah won't feature this afternoon. Good luck everyone!
I still have Estupiñán he is my third sub that is how much faith I have lol
Hahaha! If I had any bench cover, I would have benched him too.
Indeed. Ben Crellin on Twitter had a pretty bad score (for him that is) not long ago. I think he's inside top 10k now.
I will be happy if I finish in the top 500k considering the season I have had lol
I have not followed Ben Crellin, you have mentioned him a few times will see if he is on YouTube (I am not on any other social media).
My goal is top 100k before every season, but I don't think I will manage to get there this season unless I take some punts that pays off. My team mostly covers template picks right now.
Ben Crellin is only on Twitter, though he was a guest on this week's The Green Arrow:
Cheers will have a look, this season I have taken maybe 2 or 3 hits so not really taken risks.
I think my hits are on par with previous seasons, but they've been mostly forced moves this season, due to injuries or doubts.
Your welcome! I was in doubt if I was to play Areola or Dubravka. Ended up playing Areola; time will tell who finishes on most points.
I have the Liverpool game on, but noticed that Chelsea have taken the lead. Brentford are not having a good season though, to be honest. It will be interesting to see if having Toney back will get them some results going forward.
Toney's return seems to have coincided with bad form, this season my keepers have done very little though to be fair we have not had many clean sheets from teams.
Good point, it doesn't look like there's been many clean sheets around this season – or at least it feels like there hasn't been!
Poch is probably right, I can see Klopp getting every 50/50 call and benefit of the doubt until the end of the season.
Still like Arsenal and City to finish ahead of LP though ....
I am regretting taking the armband of Watkins.
Team No. of league titles*
1. Man United 20
2. Liverpool 19
3. Arsenal 13
4. Everton 9
Man City 9
6. Aston Villa 7
7. Chelsea 6
Sunderland 6
9. Newcastle 4
Sheffield Wednesday 4
Liverpool must be stopped :)]
Even as well Forest played to keep Liverpool from scoring, I was convinced that they somehow would find the net. I certainly regret not placing a bet in added time!
One of the three teams will slip up, and I expect it will be the youngest, most inexperienced team that will do do – which is Arsenal.
Arsenal have placed themselves at a disadvantage with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Zinchenko, Tomiyasu and Partey all injury doubts at several points throughout the season. The squad is simply too thin to go all the way.
Liverpool were lucky to get the 3 points in the last seconds which makes the win even better....
We've got Manc next at home.
Arsenal are flying atm.
I certainly don't expect Arsenal to keep this up. They get a couple of periods each season where they get some results, but they always come up short when it matters the most.
That game against City will be interesting for fans and neutrals; the fixtures look decent for both Liverpool and City after that game, so it's not unlikely that this game will be the title decider.
