Still buzzing, thank you Amad I needed that.

I totally forgot Rashford and Garnacho were dropped from the entire squad.

Amorim is ruthless, so happy he won that game.

Those late goal game winners are the most enjoyable wins.

Agreed and we have had many of those at the death comebacks.

A busy end to the work year meant I didn't have time to go through the gameweek scores of the previous two gameweeks until now. So here's a quick look at gameweek 15 and 16 before another deadline tomorrow! Both gameweeks saw a drop in average points scores, down from 58 points in gameweek 14 to 50 and 47 points in gameweek 15 and 16 respectively. This is reflected in the gameweek scores in our league too, but several managers managed much better scores than the average. Best in gameweek 15 was Red Warriors, scoring 89 points, and ending the gameweek with an impressive gameweek rank of 26 392. Best in gameweek 16 was Dinamo Skruknott, scoring 69 points. Congratulations! =D>

I best check my team, I have not been paying attention to Cunha and his situation.

Welbeck is injured though I do have 2 free transfers.

Decided to keep Cunha myself. I couldn't find any news suggesting he will miss this gameweek, and saving a transfer is much needed for me right now.

I heard that Cunha will play.

I stuck with Cunha as it could be a good fixture.

I brought in Wood and Young for Welbeck and VVD. I needed the money for Wood.

One FPL content creator speculated yesterday that a ban for Cunha could happen before next gameweek, seeing as there had been no charge for Cunha as of yet (at the time of the recording he made yesterday). If that happens, Cunha will be a priority transfer for me next gameweek.

As @Fire_and_Ice_Returns mentions above, it's also a good fixture for him, so he's a decent player to have, should he be available.

Wood is on my mind as a Cunha replacement. I've seen some managers going with Jackson, but I can't afford him without a restructure of my team.

City with a late goal though it is not enough, City lose again they are in crisis for sure.

They have to spend in January there midfield is very weak right now.

I started Gvardiol which was a mistake, I was close to dropping him though he does get the odd goal.

A Saka injury is not what Arsenal need right now…

Really glad I have him in one of my striker spots. Carrying my team this gameweek so far.

  • Went off with a muscle injury around 25 minutes in after putting a cross in. Didn't seem to be any contact involved.

Unlucky for the bench points as it's always a guessing game.

Sometimes it's better not having a good bench as if they score it's frustrating.

At least you had Salah as Captain instead of Palmer.........

Really need Martinelli and Trossard to step up in his absence – though it did seem to work fine to move Martinelli on the right, with Trossard playing on the left, so that might be the lineup in the games through Christmas.

Rogers on the bench for me. It was a 50/50 call to start him or not, as I was tempted to bench João Pedro…

Christmas preparations and celebrations is to blame for the late gameweek update this time around, but here's a late look at how we did in gameweek 17! An average gameweek score of 60 points in quite the step from 47 points the previous gameweek. Salah's two goals, two assists and three bonus point is no doubt the reason for this, as he was captained by many managers. Many managers in our league beat the gameweek average score – several by quite a lot too, so it was a good gameweek for the league. Best this gameweek was Dinamo Skruknott, scoring 94 points.

My worry with Gabriel Jesus, is that form seems very temporary for him, and that he's often injured. I really want to see him do well at Arsenal though, as I don't think we've seen him at his best at all since he signed.

Here are the gameweek 18 captaincy picks!
    Salah: 14
    Mitoma: 1
    B. Fernandes: 1
    Maddison: 1

The majority of managers are looking to Salah for the captaincy this gameweek. In fact, all but three managers have captained the Egyptian for his favourable fixture against Leicester. Good luck everyone!

Do you have many transfers saved now?

    Two I think.

I can't believe the run City are on, I thought they would miss Rodri but never expected them to struggle this badly.

I am expecting United to struggle again tonight against Wolves and new manager.

Serious lack of quality here, Wolves v United I hate to say is a relegation scrap.
