I have three players potentially out and fit players who are not guaranteed to start, team is a bit of a mess and the fixtures are not kind either looking at potential signings.

Keen FPLers over here in North America will have to get up very early in the hope of early team news about whether Haaland starts or not, ie. to captain him or not.

While we wait patiently for more Premier League action, let's have a look at gameweek 12! With highly owned players like Salah and Haaland both delivering double digits, it was no surprise that the average gameweek score was high. In fact it it was double the gameweek score of gameweek 11! We had plenty of good scores in our league too, best of which was TeamXtreme, finishing the gameweek with 89 points. Congratulations! =D>

Enjoy the international break, and make sure to have your teams ready for more FPL fun next weekend!

I am shocked I actually won a game week, i really thought i was going to go the whole season without topping a GW lol that is how bad my season has been.

It's a difficult season, isn't it? The FPL season really only kicks off now though, with a hectic Christmas schedule, and chips to be played – at least eventually.

Literally with all the Premier & Champions League plus other Euro games available across two (pricey) apps here in Canada, I don't mind the break, as I watch nearly everything involving the English teams, even if with just half an eye at times.

We don't lack football to watch even without PL, that's for sure!
    A former financial advisor to Man City believes Pep Guardiola's side and Chelsea run the risk of relegation from the Premier League;
Burnley, Leeds and Leicester intend to sue Everton for a total of £300m; Everton could lose a host of star names including Jordan Pickford

I'd be very surprised if City face any consequences. Expect they have found every loophole in the regulations…

Who knows what will happen ? It's a case of wait and see.......

Man City's full list of FFP charges as Arsenal await points deduction outcome

Yes. Expect it will be a while until we hear anything too…

Some think a decision could be soon some reckon it might take years ?

Everton are going to appeal apparently ?

Maybe chelsea will face more charges in the future after spending over $1billion on players recently ?

The complexity of it all makes it difficult to expect anything than that this will take years. In the meantime I expect City's (and Chelsea's) lawyers are working just as hard!

It will be interesting to see what happens re. Everton though. Smaller club, which has been run badly for years…

Here are the gameweek 13 captaincy picks!
    Haaland: 7
    Salah: 5
    Son: 2
    Watkins: 1
    Alvarez: 1
    Solanke: 1

Haaland is yet again the most captained player in our league, picked by seven managers before a tough fixture against Liverpool. Five managers will hope Salah outscores the City striker in the same game. Son is the only other player backed by more than one manager. Good luck everyone!

I had a lot of sleep to catch up on so totally missed deadline and never did anything to my team in the end oh dear lol

Just put the City game on, at least Haaland starts that is one less worry for my squad.

Dodgy defending, Allisson caused the initial problem with a bad kick out.

Me keeping haaland captain may end up being the only good thing i did the GW, my players have awful fixtures.

It was either Haaland or Son for me. Will be interesting to see who finishes the gameweek with most points.

I think there are more goals in this for City, Liverpool do not look great at the back.

Watching the goal back TAA is such a defensive liability.

Indeed, there's more goals in this game for City if they want to.

Big test for Liverpool in the second half, it will go some way to showing whether they are legit challengers for the title. Even if they lose I am curious to see if Liverpool have fight.

Yes, this is a big game in many ways – for both teams. City winning comfortably would place them as the title winners to be, like previous seasons. Liverpool fighting back would give the title race some excitement before the Christmas period.

Arsenal have impressed me more than Liverpool though arsenal are not quite at the level of last season yet. The keeper situation seems to be an issue, i read about Ramsdale father getting involved.

    Newcastle 4 - 1 Chelsea

No clean sheets so far that helps me as my defense is in shambles.

With hindsight glad i did not make a transfer as now having 2 for next GW will help sort out my team a bit.

What a miss, Spurs should be 1 up, lively start. Both teams all out attack.

Villa should have scored, another great chance squandered.
