UPPER DECK ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF LEGENDARY®: 007, INVITES GEN CON ATTENDEES TO PREVIEW UPCOMING LEGENDARY DXP:007 DIGITAL GAME
CARLSBAD, Ca. (August 01, 2019) – Upper Deck, the leading entertainment and sports company, announced today that a limited quantity of the company’s highly anticipated James Bond-themed Legendary deck building game will be available for sale at the Gen Con gaming convention in Indianapolis this weekend.
Upper Deck’s newest Legendary release marks the first-ever James Bond deck building game and includes content from four classic 007 films; Goldfinger, The Man With The Golden Gun, GoldenEye and Casino Royale.
The Legendary: 007 game allows players to recruit powerful heroes from Q Branch, acquire gadgets, build up power to defeat Villains, and take on missions in an attempt to bring down evil Masterminds. Upper Deck will bring the game to life with a 007-themed booth at Gen Con Indy, where fans can sign up for a free demo and get a sneak preview of the upcoming digital version of the game, Legendary DXP: 007.
Gen Con is the largest and longest running tabletop game convention in North America, attracting over 60,000 attendees to Indianapolis for 17,000 ticketed gaming events that take place over the span of just four days, starting today.
The availability of the new 007 deck building game comes just weeks after the release of Upper Deck’s first Bond trading card set, James Bond Collection, which includes characters and scenes from a variety of movies across the Bond film franchise and an extensive roster of actor autographs.
Fans can pick up a copy of Legendary: 007, a James Bond Deck Building Game in the Upper Deck booth at Gen Con this weekend and get a glimpse at Legendary DXP:007, the digital version of the game that is scheduled to release later this Summer.
