"I want a poster where someone has to tilt their head in order to read the credits."
Yeah, Better....More like it.
Much better.
I think that Mr. Nolan would approve 😊

Interestingly, when theaters do re-open, they will probably screen a number of ‘classic’ movies at first. And that strategy appears to already be in effect for the various ‘drive-in’ and even out-door stadium movie screenings that seem to be popping up. Movies like “Jaws”,”Apollo 13”, “Back to the Future” and “Black Panther” are being shown, and I even see that Casino Royale is to be shown in NYC (Bronx) on August 2nd.

Another chance to see ‘2OO1’ in 70mm? I’m all in! Oops…I’ll need to travel to Chicago….darn!!!
The NTTD poster I have up in my place is one such fan poster. :D
That's the one I was talking about. By @mtm, right? @Denbigh also did quite a few.
Yep!
So the ratio between positive tests detected vs total tests performed is rising in several states. Does the number of sick people also rise? And if so, are the relations known publicly? What I mean is, if there are 10 new severely ill patients, it would be a rise by 100% if the number was 10 before, but a rise of 1% if the number was 1.000 before.
Are all tests PCR?
Just using the state of Arizona as an example: on Memorial Day (May 25th), 9% of the daily tests performed came back positive. Yesterday (July 1st), 28.3% of the daily tests performed came back positive.
Monster Hunter and The Honest Thief, both coming out on September 4th (2 months from now), have zero marketing campaign yet either (apart from 2 teaser posters released in February for ''Monster Hunter'', and 1 official still for 'The Honest Thief').
Granted, that's not as much of a dollar smash as the previous film, but it's still a profit and I think they'll want that film out for that holiday for obvious reasons.
This was Nolan's plan with the July re-opening. Had america been in the same place as Europe he would have had his way. Sadly, the US situation has forced his hand and September/October is now likely. In which case, Nolan now runs into a whole bunch of other films that had already moved due to the pandemic........
The ratio between positive tests detected versus total tests performed is actually rising in several US states. This is one of the reasons why the situation in the US is on the verge of becoming a total disaster.[/quote]
The US poster is pretty weak - also, totally confusing. It's not really selling the whole 'inverted' angle. It just looks like two pictures of John David Washinton. If I was unfamiliar with this film, I'd just think it was the two male leads of the film posing in a poster.
Meanwhile, the international one is simple and cool. It's not exactly groundbreaking. But it's a cool way of selling the story and creating a elegant iconic image. But considering Warner are soooooooooo good at marketing and posters in particular. The Tenet art has been uniformly weak. What's also up with Nolan's obbession with this blue tinge to his posters?
Fairly certain that Tenet will now take WW84's date and WW84 will move to Thanksgiving as the botched social media attempt already revealed.
Which probably means that Bond moves out of November entirely. Perhaps to February 2021 to capitalise on the Black Panther date. Currently, Marvel's Eternals is scheduled for that date. But that film hasn't started its marketing and an afford moving to later in 2021. Especially as no other Marvel films beyond Black Widow are even close to being ready for release in 2021.
....Also, is this the much fabled return of Panchito?
“We need to get more creative because you’re not going to open up theaters for any level of regular operations anytime soon,” box office analyst and founder of TheNumbers Bruce Nash says.
"We’re always talking about getting through this and figuring out what the new normal is, but I’m now thinking this is the new normal,” Bruce Nash, box office analyst and founder of TheNumbers, said. “The virus doesn’t really go away, and we’re in this wave of coronavirus cases subsiding and spiking and maybe there’s a vaccine early next year, but this is how it’s going to be for as long as we can see right now.”
California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday ordered Los Angeles County and 18 other counties in the state to close movie theaters and dine-in restaurant service for at least the next three weeks as infections continue to surge.
To boot, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo last week said that movie theaters will not reopen on schedule.
“There are really only two potential saviors for the movie theater business: Government action and the other is the studios,” Nash said, referencing studios helping to pay exhibitors’ digital print fees during the switch from film. “What that looks like for putting ‘Tenet’ out in a movie theater, I don’t know. But everybody in the industry wants that to happen… It’s maybe more about what we do with the situation that we’re in.”

It is Panchito! Nice to have you back bro. Things have been far to civilised for too long. I wonder how long this rogue account lasts for.
But to take your point...I totally agree. Bond belongs in November. It has owned that date for 25 years and has posted consistent numbers.
However, the elephant in the room is the pandemic. I've been weighing up the pros/cons of the situation.
Pros:
Cons:
for these reasons, I think NTTD should go to 2021 and Tenet can have October. Let Nolan go first.....
Tenet was first delayed on June 12th, and again on June 25th. A similar time-frame would make the next delay to be confirmed this week (Thursday/Friday). Yesterday, California recorded over 10,000 new cases for the first time, so the situation is clearly not improving for theaters to reopen. What could be Tenet's new released date? Another 2 weeks delay to August 28th?
The second delay occurred on the first day the USA recorded over 40,000 new cases. Since then, the US has recorded over 50,000 new cases on 5 different days. June 24th remains the most recent day the US were below 40,000 new infections.
Halloween Kills delayed to October 2021.
The Forever Purge delayed to July 2021.
Candyman delayed to October 2020.

darn I was hoping to see the real final Halloween film ;)
Cinemas in the UK are doing that. Here's a local cinema to me that's doing that now (certain films being shown on certain days).
"This ODEON is open again! We have put in place lots of new safety measures for your wellbeing and enjoyment. Please note we are not currently accepting cash, but we have increased our contactless limit to help you buy safer. We look forward to welcoming you back to the big screen, epic sound and a safer visit."
I'm currently planning on seeing La La Land with my mum on Thursday 16th July (haven't seen it before). It will be my first cinema trip this year - I'm looking forward to it 😁!
Here's the link for today's films (different films will be shown on different days).
