Heh: I live only a couple of miles from Romans- I quite often pop to see what they have.
They had about three Zagato Vanquishes at the same time last time I went! And two were Volantes! Those are the best Zagatos in a while: often there's something a bit... challenging about them! That new one they're selling with the DB4 recreation is rather lovely too.

I've long loved the VW SP2 though: that's just a supercool-looking thing. Not sure about their assessment of the Marcos though: there were quite a few variants of that, some very hot indeed.

Yes, it really is. And have you heard it running? Those brakes screeching make my teeth hurt. It really is just a racing machine, that one. And that's why I prefer their middle engine racing machines. Because they do have some design and heritage. This thing, the Vulcan, just looks like a modern American corvette or something. Plain ugly.

Me too. Always preferred the more quirky car brands to the mainstream ones. Saab is definitely one of them.
Yeah... And the new 9-3 was ready to go... Plus, the new 9-5 combi looked so good... It never even reached dealerships... :(

I see now that I forgot to add the 2CV to the list of cars above. Thanks for reminding me, @Agent_99! To make up for my mistake, here's a vintage 2CV ad!
The first car I remember my dad having was a beige 2CV - it may even have been the same colour as the one in that ad. According to family legend, one day he put his key in the wrong car in the car park by mistake, and it unlocked.
We moved on to a Citroen GS which was hands down the best car we ever had. Same colour as this one:
I wish I could go, but for now that's highly improbable.
My first car was a vw golf 2. One day I parked it in a parking lot, locked it and walked away. In about 10 seconds I remembered I forgot my sunglasses, walked back, opened up the car and sat down in the driver's seat. Odd thing, not only didn't I see my sunglasses, the radio had changed too....
Same colour, same model, parked next to mine...
