Love that song. Simon Kidston did a video homage to that intro some time ago. With his black Miura.

Thanks for pointing out Simon Kidston's videos. That is a resource I have not tapped in yet - seems like hours of fun ahead!

Yes, indeed. Kidston is quite a character. Check out the story of his father. A James Bond type. With a Bugatti. Oh, and the Rossellini film is a must.

Interesting: I was following a current Micra only today and thinking that they used to look cute and endearing but have become slightly boringly grown-up and unmemorable. When they peel all of the wheelarches and spoilers off that I can see how that might be a bit of a return to an appealing Micra.

Lambo's should only come in the brightest, shoutiest of colours...

Anyway, it sure is a Lambo. Not really my thing but fun none-the-less.

    New GranTurismo Folgore EV review

somehow Maserati's always seem a bit 'off'. I don't know how to say it. I should love them, the're proper GT's, but they always seem to be lacking. This one as well, feels something is off, but I don't know what.

I know what you mean. To me the Maseratis of the past 20 years look a bit too generic, not special enough. It's what a middle-aged dentist would drive, not really desirable. The Wow-effect is rather with Lotus and Ferrari.

Yes I want to like Maseratis too, but they always look just slightly ungainly to me where their competitors look beautiful.

Yes, I agree, this is what a Maserati should look like:
