OO7 and Bond Are Not Synonymous

It's really sad how we live in a time where nothing has been left to the imagination. If the story of Bond 25 calls for a man, woman, cat, or dog to have the code cipher, OO7, shouldn't it be exciting for us to find out about it while we watch the film? How is this "controversial" story even a thing? Anyone can be OO7, but only one can be Bond...

    Since 2019. (in the movies)
    Before that, in every title sequence: "starring XY as James Bond 007 in....'
