It has been assumed for the last couple of months. Sooner or later it will happen.
Bond Trailers usually drop with a warning beforehand to hype it all up, usually with a set date. However, its possible this time it will just drop without warning. Seems to be what they are doing this time.
October 5th, next Saturday. So if they want to build up the hype (and I agree with @James0065004301 they'll probably do it, since it's the first real footage), they'll have a whole week to do so.
That's Awesome. One of the members of this site actual spoke with Barbara. I didnt know that so if thats true then cool. But I did listen to James Bond and Friends when they talked about someone seeing the rough cut of the trailer. How do the owners of the site get the opportunity to meet Barbara and actually see a rough cut of trailer ? It sounds too good to be true, but Im not saying I dont believe you.
Also, October 5 sounds such a great day, and it falls on the weekend so it's perfect, also its James Bond Day. Makes sense to me. If they dont release it that day they have made a wrong call.
One of our members was in Matera and met, amongst other people, Barbara, and was kind enough to tell us of his brief talk with her. This is a highly reputable member who also debunked the title of SP way before it was officially announced. We have those kinds of members here in the forums. Regarding the trailer, I have no ideia how someone from the JB&F got to see the rough cut. But I believe their already more than proven integrity.
All and all, these things are true.
Very cool indeed. I won't get my hopes up too much, but October 5th sounds the perfect date to drop it. Either way, I think we should see it sometime in October at the latest. Nice that Barbara was able to say the trailer is coming soon.
I heard somewhere that the trailer was delayed as they wanted to include Matara in it?
Oh, do you think they would include a bit of the gun barrel shot like they did in Casino Royale trailer? I think that would be amazing, as its like the beginning and end of Craigs era with the gun barrel in the trailer, and also reassure fans its returned properly. What do you think? ?
Yes, that's the latest rumour, but again from someone we can trust.
What's if they just release another behind the scenes though in Matara. I thought that would have come first to be honest ?

Hope not, we've had our share of Matera here. @Contraband posted so many videos we now have a better behind the scenes compilation than they could ever produce ;)
Thanks! I had to double-check on 007 site to make sure. A good sign when they've revealed official content on that day before. :)
And yes, I agree. We've certainly been spoilt with the Matera footage, but I'm thinking from their perspective with official content. They like to usually release behind the scenes officially. All the footage we've seen wasn't supposed to be seen, but if that changes their decision to release a behind the scenes of Italy then I would certainly understand that. I do expect a behind the scenes of Italy at some point. Obviously on the extras of the dvd, but im sure we'll have one at some point. Its the opening sequence after all, so we think. ;)
Personally I don't think so. I did a little bit more digging and also discovered that the Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007 was also unveiled on Global James Bond Day, 2012. So even more evidence that official content is released that day. So a trailer should drop October 5th if they continue the trend. It sounds too perfect to not happen.If it doesnt I and many other fans will be shocked.
I just want a reveal on 007.com with a countdown timer :)
That's a good guess, seems totally viable. If anything, maybe it's a snippet of the trailer revealed with the full trailer announced for Global James Bond Day or something. Time will tell.
Fingers crossed. Filming is almost over, the timing seems appropriate.
The final season of Mr Robot starts next Sunday. Malek is 100% going to be speaking about it on Colbert. It doesn't preclude him from speaking about NTTD. But it won't be the focus of the interview. He almost certainly won't be dropping the trailer for NTTD.
The trailer will drop on 007.com. I still hope it comes out this week. Currently the best days to keep an eye on are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I anticipate at least a day's notice before it drops. Perhaps even a teaser poster.
It has to drop before Thursday night as Joker opens then. Otherwise, it'll get bootlegged. Alternatively, its attached to Gemini Man on 11 October.

I doubt that. He's a recent Oscar winner, they'll want to promote his involvement sooner rather than later.
