Who is NOT going to watch the trailer? And for how long?

The trailers never do, willing to bet he hadn't recorded any of it. Especially if it's the same piece that's been supposedly ready since August.

That being said, the more new stuff we hear from Jeff Pfeifer's Bond trailer library, the better 😝

I’m certain it’ll be an extended version of the August trailer - incorporating Matera, the DB5 and Lea Seydoux.

The only plot you will likely see is tiny scraps suggested in the synopsis. Then the reveal of Rami Malek.

I’m even apprehensive that Lynch will be revealed as 007.

It’ll basically be a bog-standard Bond trailer. There is nothing wrong NG with that - after all, all the marketing campaign has to do is remind people this film exists and folk will turn up

If Dan Romer is still composer, I hope the trailer features snippets of his score

By now the composer may have produced some rough cues in his own studio, really developing ideas and potential themes etc. to offer up to the director and producers, but nothing final will be recorded until the film is closer to a final cut, so any music in the trailer will (most likely) be from past Bond scores.

I'm looking forward to having to trawl the depths of the internet to find a clean copy of the trailer music.

My heart skipped a beat seeing this thread had been reopened. Great news about the trailer and the GMA interview, can't wait to see how it looks, hopefully it's like the Skyfall teaser because that was immense.

It's nice to have something to look forward to now and the guess game ends.

I hope they would give us a SF-style teaser.

    Not only action.

Very True ColonelSun. Music from past bond films or music from trailer composers. Just like Pfeifer Broz Music did for Casino Royale's trailer and Parodi/Fair did for Goldeneye

Yeah I totally agree, even watching the Skyfall teaser now makes me want to watch Skyfall again. There's something really well paced and dynamic about it.
The intrigue in it was great as well, the way when Skyfall is mentioned in the word association, they make the mission with Ronson at the start of the movie seem like it was relevant to it. Like Skyfall was the name of that mission and not of Bond's childhood home. Great bit of misdirection that was lacking from Spectre quite honestly

Yeah, the narrative of Spectre was revealed quite early and it's Trailers & numerous TV spots further revealed more. It was only the teaser that made it seemed like bond was in peril

I fully agree with you here.

Just watched the Goldeneye teaser again, I love how when Bond says the "expecting someone else" line you can really get a sense that Brosnan is loving every second of being Bond after the Remington Steele carry on. I got a real feeling of peeping at the actor behind the character if that makes sense.

The SF teaser is my favorite of the Craig era. Perfect blend of mystery and action.

If Craig looks to the camera and says 'I Never Left' in the teaser, I think that would be quite stylistic

I've already accepted that I'll watch the teaser trailer once and then no other footage after that. I need to get a feel of the movie.

Hopefully the trailer will only be made up by previous movies' quotes. Same for the film.

With less than a week before the real trailer is released, here's something to get us excited. Made it a while back:

At this point I just want to gage the tone of NTTD I don't need much more for a Bond film usually, I made the mistake of learning too much prior to SP.

Am still very Curious about the Aston Martin Valhalla....Hope it features Peculiar Gadgets. I like Craig's stripped down Bond, but I think he needs to end his run with some gadgets. Movies like the Living Daylights had it's fair share of Gagdets. But it never affected Timothy Dalton's stern take on Bond

I just hope they don’t open the trailer with those stupid mini-trailers. One of the most frustrating trends in modern trailers at the moment. They serve literacy no purpose.

    They actually do though:
    - to get the message across before someone can hit Skip Ad, when the trailer us used as an ad
    - at catch the attention of someone scrolling through their feed.

Exactly. It's an adaption for the quick-scrolling social media era, like it or not.
I don't like it either but it's life. I hope NTTD's teaser doesn't feature this. Maybe a future trailer down the road.

It's also a social media thing, from what I've gathered. Annoying, but it does have a purpose. It's why I always skip the first 5-6 seconds of a trailer.

Yeah I know it's the trailer thread but check this out people.

Cuba town-set at Pinewood studios on Google maps. First proper full view of the massive set. The second screenshot I'm not so sure about but it could also be NTTD-related.

Craig's tenure is both linear & serialized in it's narrative....it's why there's so much mystery with NNTD's production coz we already know the traits of some of it's characters . If they were standalone films like the previous ones, a trailer release or any form of publicity won't be a big deal. Still Craig's tenure so far has been riveting
