Never Say Never Again to screen at Théâtre des Variétés in Monaco on 11 January, 2022.
With the way memory chains work I would say that, yes, an older film would be easier recalled. It's just the way memory works. The longer the memory chain, the better remembered something is. That's why those with dementia can recall something from, say, 1962, but can't remember what happened yesterday.
I too want to say how great and thoughtful an idea this is for the older contingent of Bond fans out there who are affected by dementia.

There actually appears to be quite a lot of information on the subject. From what I can (briefly) see, these type of screenings usually have "intermissions", low - but not pitch black - lighting to make the experience less disorienting, and specially trained staff to guide both patients and caregivers through the process.

@echo. That appears to be the general idea: to screen something that will tap into memories and simulate the brain. Music and Movies that people know well (from before) seems be appropriate.

The films start reshowing next week here in Ireland, Odeon cinema is near my home, seems to be on a Tuesday evening, which would suit me! Doubt I can do them all, but there are certainly a good few I would really like to see on the big screen again!
Incredibly frustrating, however, that:
- there is no 'season ticket' offer to reduce the price of seeing every film
- the MyLimitless pass from Odeon is for adults only
Combining these means that it's £6 per head, so £18 per film for the three of us to attend. Doing that 25 times would be £450.
Can they really not find any way to make it more affordable for families? We would happily have paid a more reasonable price and done the lot, but as it is we'll only see a few of them.
That is ridiculous but I hope you and the family have fun. I played DN in theaters when I was running the film program in college, I loved it. Any others in particular you know you'll shell out money to see?
In fairness you are in effect going to the cinema 75 times. They do have staff to pay, and electricity bills to fund etc etc.
It's super common, though, to have deals for purchasing things in bulk. I've seen countless marathon showings in theaters before that are usually cheaper than if you purchased tickets for each film separately.
So, ventured along to my local Odeon for the 7.50pm showing of FRWL. A few trailers and no adds,, lovely. Up pops the certificate card, here we go and then.... nothing! Blank screen, lights go up!! Spotty faced teen comes in and declares "technical difficulties!" "Bear with us!" One hour later, still waiting! Older spotty faced kid comes in, 90% chance of getting screening going, or money back + free ticket! Nobody moves!
30 mins later, people start to go, . .and I join them!
So disappointed. Wasnt going to attend GF next week, as I have seen that on the big screen, was going to wait for TB, but I think I will to make up for last night!
If it all goes wrong, my local Odeon is going to be burnt to the ground in a mysterious fire!

Missed Dr. No, FRWL screening, projector broke down, got to see GF, ( which I wasnt planning to do, as its the one film of the earlier ones that I did see on the big screen!), had my tickets bought for last Tuesdays show of TB, but something came up last minute, and I couldn't go!!! Had not intended to go to YOLT, but I will move hell and Earth to get to see OHMSS the following week!

ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE last night! Utterly glorious in every way, it was a great experience. Bigger crowd than GF, and seemingly enjoying every minute, (Bonds "a slight stiffness coming on!" got a big laugh, among others!) And there was an eerie silence at that final scene! I shall be skipping DAF next week, but am determined to see as many of Rogers films as possible!
