    I’ve always enjoyed aquarium keeping. And everything you need you can get delivered; yes even the fish. It usually costs more to mail order fish but they’re almost always in better health and more colorful than local fish stores (I’d recommend liveaquaria.com for fish, and Amazon has everything else).

    I do a bit of leatherwork in my free time, so I'm looking forward to using some of this isolation time to hone my skills there.

    That's actually a style I'm looking for. Black (or gunmetal grey) is more in line for me. Maybe you'll work out some subtle signature for your work.

    Haha I’ve thought about it actually but they’re escape artists and they have ridiculously short lifespans for their price.

    I'm in semi lockdown so options:

    revisit some classic movies (watched Heat last night), Heat extras DVD tonight
    revisit my childhood and make a plastic kit/model
    finally finish the movie screenplay that has been gathering dust for a year

    I know it's tough for everyone but it's good to try and see small positives if posible amid the gloom.

    To kill time I have been training thankfully I have a gym at home, doing some graphic design on PC (on going projects), listening to music, binge watching Netflix and Amazon Prime shows. Also I have been going through paper work I have hoarded for twenty year's, so been doing a lot of shredding, time stuck indoors has given me the opportunity to get a lot of things in order.

    I'm glad you're all keeping occupied.

    I'm working hard to create educational videos for my students. Meanwhile, my girlfriend and I are making the best of it. We're going through some TV shows, movies and books.

    It's tough for everyone but this is where the internet really makes a massive contribution. Imagine the same virus crisis pre-internet. We should never take it for granted.

    Not a creative hobby, but I'm trying to spend these days doing as much reading as I can. Only fiction though, as I need a bit of escapism. I'm currently reading Lee Child's Killing Floor, and I have a lot of books just waiting to be read.

    Very much so. More than ever, the Internet is our window on the outside world. We can reach out, talk, laugh, provide updates. We must consider ourselves fortunate to have these things at our disposal right now.

    You could spend the time writing a long essay on how the Bond franchise would have turned out if

    A) Roger Moore has been the first Bond

    B) George Lazenby made a sequel to OHMSS

    and

    C) how awful the Disney young Bond franchise would be. :P

    @Agent_99 wow , sounds good. I was a Tamiya fan myself. I was actually thinking, most model dioramas are based on war scenarios but the potential for Bond movies is huge.

    Funnily enough I’ve taken up model making recently. It’s uncredibly satisfying and therapeutic. I’m a graphic designer also and most of my many hobbies are creative. Just completed a 1/32 spitfire and a little diorama for my lad.

    @Agent_99 It's not for everyone but, if you have a certain personality, model making really is a form of therapy, you are spot on. 1/32 ? huge

    Yes it was £23 and took the better part of 3 weeks in the evenings. Money well spent. Helps that my lad is into ww2

    Oh, lovely! I sometimes find it a bit stressful because I'm a perfectionist and always conscious of the gaps, smudges etc on my kits. But it is nice to lose yourself in it and suddenly realise an hour has passed.

    (I'm a content designer, so it makes a change to do something with my hands instead of my words.)

    @patb, I've seen that Skyfall diorama - it's what gave me the idea of doing Bond-related kits! If I were a skilled modeller (I am not), my ultimate ambition would be the Living Daylights not-a-Hercules, complete with cargo net full of opium hanging out the hatch!

    Right now just one 55 gallon saltwater tank with a velvet damselfish and some hermit crabs. I’m still deciding what else to put in.
