He really looks like him. i just know he gonna capture the essence of the Man
  • Imagine what he'll look like once he's in full wardrobe?! I can't wait! Did anybody else pick up a copy of the book that the film is based on? lol

He is such a fierce actor. I´m glad he doesn´t play Washington, or he would probably have his teeth replaced with wooden ones.
  • Here's a new image from filming in Virginia.

He definitely has the Lincoln look about him. I think he would make a great Edgar Allan Poe too if they ever did a film on him. I have so much respect for him because he truly embodies his roles and always stays in character.

They recently did 'The Raven,' with Cusack playing Poe. This film is going to be amazing, I'm sure. I hope Spielberg gives us a masterpiece at the end of this year.

Yes, and that film got me thinking about how great Daniel would have been as Poe in it.

That he would. I really think you could put him an any type of role and it would be truly amazing. I wonder if he's going to take a few years off again for his side job after he films 'Silence', or if he will choose to do another film. 'Silence' has an excellent cast thus far.

Does he slay vampires as well?

If in doubt go historic to get your Hollywood power back...is this going to be your Howard the Duck though? War Horse was ignored so now you go back to the thumping all American story with oh such a sad ending...I suppose JFK had been done.

    I'm looking fwd to Hitchcock:

Same. Fingers crossed for a scene where Hitchcock orders breakfast on set and someone accidentally brings him eggs. :))

I don't see Anthony Hopkins whatsoever in that picture. I couldn't believe it when I first saw it.

And even though I haven't seen it, nor care to, I can only surmise that 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' is a steaming pile of trash.

I actually really enjoyed it. It's a bit stupid, but it's enjoyable. Better use of vampires than Twilight, that's for sure.

I don't think you can get much worse than 'Twilight.' That is just horrendous, and boy, am I looking forward to shelling out the cash to see the next one in theaters because my girlfriend is such a fan. Going to be so, so, so thrilling. Try not to be jealous, everyone, of me spending my hard-earned money on such an Oscar-worthy film.

Looks like I'll be seeing 'Lincoln' by myself, of course.

Lucky for me my fiance hates Twilight just as much as I do.

You should be thrilled @Creasy47. It's the last one. Even better is Skyfall will likely not be the last Bond film.

When people tell me stories like that, I often think the same!

It's why I'll probably deliver an enthusiastic clap as the credits roll, knowing I won't have to sit through such droll again. 'The Hunger Games' films, while not my favorite, already seem to be 1,000x more entertaining than the 'Twilight' series. I love her, though, and I enjoy dating her, so if that's what it takes, that's what it takes.

But seriously, screw 'Twilight.' I praise the upcoming final release.

I saw The Hunger Games and really did like it. I hope the other three are as good, or really better. That is a great foundation in place. I've only ever seen a few seconds of Twilight on the TV and I hated it. The reviews are awful too.

There's a film out next March called The Host, by the same author, who is rumoured to have written another two books, which may also be turned into films. You may be dragged to this series-in-the-making too Creasy! Consider yourself warned. ;)

'Catching Fire' seems to have a great cast lined up thus far, with Phillip Seymour Hoffman joining - 'The Master,' by the way, looks incredible - and Lynn Cohen from 'Munich' confirmed.

Yeah, I heard about this, but she has yet to show much enthusiasm about the book(s) and the upcoming film(s). Key word: 'yet,' ;)

phoniex will get nominated for an Oscar for "The Master". How about Joaquin for a bond villian? He was pretty damn good as one in "Gladiator" Actually, He was VERY good in that.

He alone pulling the wool over everyone's eyes with his hilarious prank to the point where we all though he was literally off the deep end is testament enough to his genius.
  • Those Phoenix boys were/are extremely talented. Dicaprio is pretty good, but both of them are/were better than him.

If that is the only reason you are missing out on a lot of great things that do come with a relationship.

Thanks, but I come here for Bond, not relationship advice.

This film just looks stunning. DDL is at his best, as usual, with a superb director at the helm. It screams Oscar worthy, and I cannot wait to see this in theaters. November will be a great month, excluding getting dragged to see 'Breaking Dawn: Part 2.'
