I remember being on the old forum. I had a different username .
    Was it @ToTheLeft ?

Haha! No, It was Mr Somerset. I logged out and couldn't get back in so I just rejoined later. By then the forum had changed.

I remember that username. But then the gene therapy kicked in I suppose. It was an interesting time, with that clan of Mr. Brown and Erica Ambler beeing disgruntled and leaving to their own obscure forum where they could slaughter any newcomer.

Erica Ambler deleted their account over there a few years ago I believe as well as a lot of their posts. Possibly trying to cover their tracks after all the ill-judged, hateful and libellous comments they made about other members, including myself. I suspect that he is around in several different guises however and could possibly even still be here too. Of course under another username. That fact was certainly intimated to me back in 2017. Of course it's hard to know if it was really him or your more common or garden variety of troll. Either way, they're probably here and let's just say I have my suspicions as to who they are.

Does anyone know when the old forums were started? I recall going to the Mi6 pages on the lead up to Die Another Day in 2001. I think the forums started sometime after that? Either way, that'd make the forums approaching 20 years old. (!!!)

Edit: It looks like around 2004. Found this from the wayback machine (boy does it bring back memories):

This is currently being discussed in the 'celebrating forum members' thread pinned to the top of the forum:

I also recall the DAD trailer discussions, and evidence in that thread suggests the KTBEU forum was formed in Spring 2002 around the time of that trailer's release.

Well, maybe my memory isn't so bad. Initially I though I had been going to it pre-DAD, but then looking at the internet archives I thought maybe I was wrong. All I know is that I definitely watched every trailer, blog, and searched as deep as I could for info on the next Bond movie (DAD). It was the first movie I followed the production process and somehow along the way I ended up here...well, there (KTBEU), you know what I mean...

I do remember reading KTBEU way before I joined, but not as far back as 2002. That wayback-machine link you posted does bring back a lot of memories. Certainly quite a few familiar names.

@Dragonpol Erica Ambler was a man and had loads of fun that people thought he was a woman. Fascinating, isn't it ;-) He at least had quite a bit of knowledge but he got grumpier and more vile by the year.

Glad we have you here, and not those selfrighteous pr***s..
