Oh man, that's a great one-he's spared by a villain! Man, had SPECTRE's plan been different, well....I shudder to think! :(
Look, this argument works for both sides. For the sake of not having to repeat myself, [Person A] and [Person B] can both refer to Bond or the villain, so long as you don't use both as Bond or both as the villain.
If [Person A] actually killed [Person B] when they had the chance, then we would be treated to 22 (soon 23) nineteen minute movies, possibly with multiple actors playing the same character in consecutive films (meaning [Actor B] replaces [Actor A] after his film, and is then replaced by [Actor C] after his film, etc).
You don't like it, you don't click it. Sheesh.
