  I did read somewhere that a bit of cgi was to be used to keep it up to date but that may just be an urban myth .

  Yeah I think that might have been supposition, but I can imagine it being true- one would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to do. But that Nokia page is saying it is the new one and yet hasn't changed from before, which is confusing! :)

  Actually, I was referring to enhanced clarity showing such things as: actors' skin much more clearly, which sometimes yields too much clarity. Also, some programs get the "soap opera" look in higher HD.

  Artistic Licence Renewed has just published "The Origins of the 007 Prefix," by Jim Wright (author of The Real James Bond, a biography of the ornithologist Fleming stole the name from). I believe this is the definitive article on the subject, and should be required reading for anyone who wonders where "007" came from and doesn't know which of the many explanations to believe.

  That's great fun, a really good deep dive. The last possibility sounds the most likely, although I tend to think there's also a good chance that he just made the number up :D

  Great read @Revelator and sorry about the mix up @Since62 even the blu-ray quality shows how close a shave some actors had that morning. On the soap opera look I do have that motion setting switched off, so it looks more film like.
