    So @Zekidk if you could kindly open your mind to actually interpreting and understanding what I am saying, either properly analyzing my words and meaning and not just jumping to the first conclusion your mind can muster, or just act like everybody else and move on without giving two thoughts and looking for way to be offended - instead of lecturing and demanding me on what I can and do speak of - it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    I think the problem with any negative reaction to a hugely popular film is kind of normal. A smaller success will usually have an audience that digs the director or the stars or the writer and is more likely to like the film on initial and delayed viewing or reviewing. The problem with a huge billion dollar success is that just about everyone sees the thing, and lots of that audience aren't Bond fans, or interested in the actors, or the director or whatever. The audience numbers are so vast, a certain percentage just won't like it and that percentage, even if relatively small, is still large given the size of the general audience. Some of that percentage is going to be vocal posting about not liking the film, or at the least, will note that it was not so great. So I think the negative reactions to SF are kind of typical for hugely popular films. We could probably see the same reaction for all of the recent top grossing films. I had my own problems with the film which I've noted enough.

    Every film with a studio hoped for follow up has announced that the next film is in development. The Dragon sequel has had about 3 scripts written and has been in development for about 5 years. When they hire a director and have a cast and start date, then a film is in development. MI6 like Bond 25, will likely be a go, but these "in development" claims are PR.

    The key factor here is Tom Cruise. It's his franchise. And I honestly don't see the series moving on without him playing the lead. Then there is the matter of his age. Of course he is in a rush to do the next, unlike other sequels or franchises that don't depend on one single person.

    It would be interesting because there's an episode of the 88/89 Mission: Impossible series that had Jane Badler going into space to stop some from using a laser mounted Space Shuttle.

    Saw it today and am happily impressed. What a great way to start a film :-)! Good music too.
    I find it fascinating that the film milks the last out of ripping off especially Bond and Sherlock, while still keeping a strong individuality. Shows once more that doing things good goes a long way.

    I am not sure about one aspect the author talks about in the above mentioned article.
    In another scene, the prime minister (actually Ethan Hunt in disguise) menaces MI6’s head Attle (Simon McBurney) with an enquiry, a situation Judi Dench’s M faced in Skyfall, too.

    Either this, or I missed something or got that completely wrong. :(

    About the music score: I liked the way, Kraemer incorporated the MI-Theme and the "Nesun Dorma" in his score.

    And true to form just like I said in my initial review of this movie, a Marvel or DC property would want to snatch up Ferguson for a role. Seems like Léa Seydoux is up for the same female lead role for the x-men spinoff movie, Gambit.
