Killed by Fleming, not by EON/Killed by EON, not by Fleming

This kind of thing fascinates me, and maybe only me. Please copy, paste and add to it, I'm sure there are many that I haven't thought of. Semi-altered names are acceptable if it is obviously the same character.

Killed by EON, not by Fleming
James Bond, Rene' Mathis, Lisl, Henderson, Saunders (Sender), Kronsteen, Gettler, Felix Leiter, Shady Tree, Peter Franks, Solange

Killed by Fleming, not by EON
Irma Bundt, Che Che

EON seems a bit of an assassin, eh?

Don’t forget M in Skyfall. Fleming almost killed M in TMWTGG, but Bond failed.

    Eon also killed Felix Leiter.
    Fleming only maimed him.

    John Strangways, Shady Tree, Solange*

    Sol "Horror" Horowitz**

    **if we're going by likenesses

I'm going by character. Miles was a specific M.

I thought about Sluggsy and Horror, but not close enough.

Fleming killed Strangways too. I'll take Shady , but Solange is far too vague in the books to associate with the character in the films. She is just a name mentioned a few times.

TBH, I find this death unforgivable. Now if it were John Terry's Felix, I might get behind this decision.

Huh, I forgot his demise was the same in the book. Must have gotten Dr. No mixed up with his involvement in Live and Let Die.

    That's what I figured.

If we were to include COLONEL SUN we would include Hammond. But we're not.

How about Peter Franks? Does anyone remember offhand (I'm too lazy to scour the book) if his fate is ever mentioned in the novel?

I haven't read DAF for a long time but I think to remember that Franks escaped from prison much later and informs the Spang when Bond is already in Vegas, prompting his kidnapping and the Old West segment. I think he survives though.

I don't even remember Solange being mentioned in the books at all. Casino Royale?

She’s mentioned twice. In 007 IN NEW YORK, where she is a woman from Bond’s past that he plans to rendezvous with again, and FROM A VIEW TO A KILL where I believe it is a made up name he attaches to a fantasy prostitute he concocts in his mind. I guess since she actually exists in Fleming continuity I should include her after all.
