Dr No "Quarrel, fetch my shoes" beats out the bad rear projection stuff.
FRWL nothing, really.
GF crushing a golf ball????
TB The plane pick-up at the end- whiplash or freeze?
YOLT Aki dies, on to Kissy. That pissed me off before it was fashionable to not enjoy the use of disposable female characters.
OHMSS Blofeld does not recognize Bond immediately????
DAF "You've just killed JAMES BOND!" as if he's a spy everyone in the world knows.
LALD Kananga's death. Stupidly filmed & cheap.
TMWTGG slide whistle on the car stunt.
TSWLM Jaws chewing a cable.
MR "Here's to us"
FYEO the fake underwater bubbles.
OP hanging onto the exterior of a plane fight.
AVTAK "California Girls".
TLD nothing, really.
LTK Felix on the phone all drugged up & not depressed.
GE beach scene where Bond tells Natalya how he survives, emotionally.
TND nothing, really.
TWINE M going into the field.
DAD Jinx.
CR Vesper's death. How could they see each other? Too dark & out of focus.
QOS nothing, really.
SF OMG, pick almost any scene.....
SP Cuckoo bro s**t.
NTTD Nanobot nonsense (yes, even more than Bond getting you-know-what-ed).

TB The plane pick-up at the end- whiplash or freeze?

Given that, at the time, it was a method used by the US Air Force to pick up pilots stranded behind enemy lines, I have no problems with that one. It can also be seen in the movie The Green Berets, by and with John Wayne. And in The Dark Knight.

DN-Bond s grimaces during the car chase
FRWL-Bond resisting the urge to sniff Rosa Klebb s hair and shoes after her death
    GF-strings on the plane
    TB-Leiter has magic pants
    CR67-probably the entire end sequence
YOLT-camera in the sky during the car drop
    OHMSS-tires screeching on sand
    DAF-elephant jubilant over winning money
LALD-Yes or no? Yes? The answer was no, you weren t even close. Maybe would have been a better answer.
TMWTGG-Bond caressing the sumo wrestler s buttocks
TSWLM-Anya shocked when the Lotus goes underwater, but it was just pretend. She knew about it all along
MR-Jaws flapping his arms, and this is the guy Sandor was told to always obey? How stupid must he have been?
FYEO-delicatessen in stainless steel? And Bond didn t take him up on an offer like that?
    OP-Tarzan yell
NSNA-Brandauer smearing saliva all over Kim
AVTAK-goons lying down on the conveyor belt voluntarily during the warehouse "fight"
TLD-Bond shooting at Whitaker s miniscule shield, when there is a ton of body visible
LTK-Leiter also gets his wife murdered on his wedding day
    GE-freefalling into the plane
TND-Wai Lin s bizarre long arm while they are on the motorcycle
TWINE-Q taught Bond never to let them see him bleed. Really?
    DAD-the invisible car
    CR-Rolex? Omega. Beautiful
QOS-Bond changed clothes before throwing White into the trunk
SF-Bond s floating face during the motorcycle chase in Turkey
SP-All those photos on the wall in the abandoned building
NTTD-Franz was in his thirties when his dad took care of Bond, and he was still jealous. What a loser.

I remember hearing/reading a testing story about this; they had no winch meaning the person had to pull themselves towards the plane after being lifted off! ;)

The biggest moment in MR is when Bond hides behind a curtain and does like a yell and grabs goodheads hand. I'll never know what that was about. :-?

There's a movie in this... "The Accidental Spy Drone."
  • The product placement in Casino Royale certainly made me think "WTF," especially with each subsequent instance...

The Ford Mondeo and Land Rovers, all the Sony stuff (phone camera, laptop, dvd player), Omega watch...all of it just smacks you in the face.

Now that I think of it, it would make a good drinking game.

Product placement is something I actually get a giggle out of, like when they placed that box of Cheerios in frame in Superman during the Smallville segment.

    Lol, I concur.

I'd also agree that SF is one of the most boring Bond films, overall. Although there's quite some suspense in the third act and in the PTS.

Most of the films don’t have WTF moments for me. There are a few though.

DAF (even though I love this film): Bond running through the moonscape mock-up, the astronauts chasing him in slow motion. Just what is going on there?

LTK: Q’s camera which can show skeletons in framed photos

SF: a defenceless woman is shot in the face and killed while our hero watches. I’ve read numerous justifications from SF fans for this bit but to me it just seems really unpleasant and unnecessary.

Bond and Tiger watching the car drop in the ocean on the TV in the car.
Where was the cameraman filming the car from?

LTK: Barrelhead bar fight. A guy gets hit and all of a sudden the whole bar is fighting each other. It’s like something straight out of a Bud Spencer/Terrence Hill-flick.

Also same movie: A ninja shows up out of nowhere and attacks Bond.

Take your pick. I know it was just a bit of fun back then but it's not something I could see the literary Bond doing anyway.

Hypocritical Q shows his true colours in the end scene of the next film.

Laser guns..............why aren't these standard issue back on earth? Signature guns..................why are these the ONLY pistols that Bond loses and used on him? Why kill enemies by dropping them in the ocean when they might have important information? Telling a Tiger to sit always works for me. All cops equate Dick Tracy at the mention of James Bond. Sure it's easy to have instant ninja outfits and equipment after going out in the cove early in the morning. I always winterize my cars by adding permanent hardtops to my convertibles. BTW, when you put a Mustang up on two wheels the car actually gets WIDER, just saying. I could go on and on but my brain hurts

I know. I was kidding. :) I had a housemate who lived there for 15 years - yet rarely had a nice thing to say about it.

I’m trying to work out how they filmed kanagas death. It’s so grainy I think it’s the original projected and then refilmed with a zoom , hence the deterioration of quality
