@KenAustin It’s a running total, you have to add your score to the previous persons score. It looks like maybe you did that, but if you don’t get rid of the previous persons marks, it becomes very confusing.

I think it was ToTheRight whom accidentally left on the +1 to TND from CommanderRoss?

I'd post an updated list, but in case I'm wrong, I don't want to confuse things further!

yeah I'm completely confused now...I watched NTTD, SF, and CR this year so far, that is what I was attempting to add

Lazenby's first of the year, to celebrate his win in the Elimination Thread.

Something I picked up on for the first time: Draco's last line at the wedding,
    "Drive carefully."

Nice quickie after OHMSS last night.

Standout scene this viewing was Mathis' villa on the lake. At the end, when Gemma looks up at the two men and her whole demeanor changes; she sees Bond for what he is, an angel of death, come to take her husband away.

seems like quite a lot of us had the same idea. Lazenby has temporarily the nr. 2 spot!

At the beginning of the year, it really does feel like you have all the time in the world to watch the second longest Bond film. ;)
  • Standout scene this viewing was Mathis' villa on the lake. At the end, when Gemma looks up at the two men and her whole demeanor changes; she sees Bond for what he is, an angel of death, come to take her husband away.

That is an excellent moment. The editing there is just spot-on. So many call out QOS for having poor editing (and I do see where those comments are coming from), but I also believe QOS has some of the very best editing choices in the series.

I went into this viewing with a mind of "let's see what all the editing fuss is about", because when I look back on the film from memory, it's easy to see how people don't like the quick cuts.

When watching the car chase in the PTS, I was thinking, yes this is fast and hectic, but then I forgot all about it and was engrossed in the film. I really do think the hectic editing throughout the film brings you into the chaos of those moments. Boat chase is another one, perfectly easy to follow along with the chaotic scene given the chaotic editing.

There are those for whom the editing will take them out of the film, I suppose, and that's unfortunate, but I suppose luckily for me that isn't me.

Much like the action sequences and pacing themselves, the chaotic editing brings you into Bond's state of mind - always on the move, constantly pressing forward with numerous objectives - stop Greene, eventually help out Camille in her quest for revenge, and inevitably catch Yusef.

We all agree here, certainly, but unfortunately these explanations will be but a quantum of solace for those that don't like the editing.
