Let me know if I missed anyone's votes as skimming through the thread on a mobile can make counting awkward! :)
22.
Consolation
Congratulations! =D>
Now we're on to one of the more divisive films in the series. Quantum Of Solace.
The deadline for submissions is 9pm on Wednesday the 1st February.
Tosca isn’t for everyone
Tell them I went to Cairo
I don’t care if it’s cheap wine
Get out
Really tough to stop at 5.
For me, the best looking modern Bond film.
Enjoy the Sun Mr Bond, soon it wil the Moon that rise for you...
Walk a way from a rainbow of light
A empty chair is another way to say soon you must say Goodbye...
Words Are People Best Friend
Alone in the dark
Pest control
Top dog
Heads-up display
Overdressed and overlayed
Canned heat on his heel
Licenced To Kill
Bond evades MI6
Goodbye Mr. Greene
Everything goes boom!
We need to talk
EDIT - Seems some of us have the same thoughts on great shots from QOS
Thanks @QBranch , I've edited my post and selected two more.
After my most recent viewing (last night) I feel it could jump considerably up my overall rankings. When I've finished the Craig era, I'll re-evaluate.
Chased by Alfa’s
Un vino qualsiasi
Love what you’ve done with the floor
Oil Girl
Unfinished business.
So many great ones had already been chosen, yet it was still difficult to limit my choices to five.
It's very difficult. Lots of gorgeous frames. I'd put it out there that QoS probably has the best selection of establishing shots in the series. The way we are introduced to each location is beautiful. It's a shame they slapped on those (admittedly not ugly) title cards for some of them.
Anyway, like yourself @GoldenGun, I tried to pick the "best of the rest" and still ended up with about seven shots. Here's my five:
Not-so-tunnel vision
Martini a la regretto
Catwoman
Rooftop Run
Dance into the fire
History repeats itself, it fails to die
They were on their way to a funeral
Blunt Instrument
Sometimes a trigger has to pulled
Quantum is a gorgeous looking film, it was tough to pick just 5.
Edited. Thanks @QBranch and cheers for the tips @CraigMooreOHMSS
When you've got the page of the image you want from ScreenMusings open, click on the link at the bottom of the image (the one that has the resolution included in it). It will open up the image in a new window, in full resolution for you.
That's great. I'll wait for you to stick them up before moving to voting.
You only iron once
HIgh-speed psycho
The last drop
One of so many great shots of the desert
I never left...but Vesper did
To me this is the defining image of the film.
*chef’s kiss*
+1. One of the best shots of the series, just for aesthetics but also its deeper meaning.
