Thanks for trying, but no, it's not the glass museum in MR. But I do see where you're coming from.

Additional hint: There may be a certain historical mediterranean influence in both of them.

@CommanderRoss, I once more applaud you...since no one else seems to care :-)

Looks familiar. Is it the tunnel the MI6 crew drive through, before getting ambushed at the end of SP?

You don't mean that, do you, really? (Good night for the time being.)

At first the archway to the right looked like a tunnel (was looking at the image from my phone), but now I can see the image more clearly.

I thought that finding this would be a "lighter" task for amigos of a certain movie.

I'm still flabbergasted that no one has found the solution in spite of my last posting, which I think delivered important hints.

    Monsoon palace?

    Monsoon palace?
I'm afraid not. But as I said, "amigos" of a certain movie should find the solution, especially considering a "lighter" approach.

I don't think I should be any more direct for the time being.

I can at least guess the film is Licence to Kill? Looking around at some film locations but if that's right maybe it helps someone else.

Thank you, @NickTwentyTwo, it is indeed a building shown in LTK. The interesting part is: What is it really...and what does it represent in the movie?

I had a couple of ideas, but investigating on Google Maps didn't generate anything that looks like your image. I'll keep thinking.

Banco de Isthmus. I think in reality it is the post office in Mexico City.

    And it's a BINGO, @goldenswissroyale!

The Palacio de Correos de México (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palacio_de_Correos_de_México, cf. https://screenmusings.org/movie/blu-ray/Licence-to-Kill/pages/Licence-to-Kill-0509.htm), a wonderful building inside and out. They also filmed some interior scenes in the main hall, an art-nouveau masterpiece.

Glad we got that over with!

Bond was seen inside and outside of this building in a movie.
Edit: We don't see this part in the movie. But maybe someone recognizes the building anyway. It is a famous place for tourists (tourists like me:). Another more obvious picture could be uploaded later if needed.

Quick guess without research: the casino in Macao/Macau from Skyfall?

    Nothing from SF.

OK, you successfully tempted me. Achilleion on Corfu. Sissi's palace. Played a role in FYEO. Though I'm afraid I don't really remember the scene. Was that the dinner with Kristatos?

The casino scene, the dinner outside and the scene before where Bond and Melina are talking with the sea in the background.
    That was quick ...

Here's the next one, a literary location.

Sorry to be such a slow guesser, this game always intrigues me, but as I said before I often have little time. Nevertheless, I'd guess the house where Gala is held by Goldfnger in London with the homing beacon in it.

Afraid not, Commander! And I don't think this house looks that British, apart from the Union Jack. But Merry Christmas!

I take the liberty of bumping this up to page one and therefore the general public again.

Here's a hint (with apologies to The Princess Bride): We would not be here today without wuv. Wuv, twoo wuv between these two. Fowevah.

Oh of course, it's the British Consulate in Munich where Bond and Tracey get married.

Exactly, @CharmianBond. Möhlstraße 5, 81675 München. Your turn again.

Okay, try this one. It's from a spin-off novel, but it has quite the life outside it. I'm looking for the location rather than the building itself.
