I'll go further and say I'd like to see a Bond film where the woman is smarter than Bond, either as a straight-up genius-level ally, or as the main villain and mastermind.

Why? Johnny English has that scenario covered

Excellent choices made. I especially found myself agreeing with @CommanderRoss very well thought out answer.

Bond has engaged in quite a few activities. Some are popular, some are rather niche.

    I do wonder

Would you rather ski OR scuba?

Two things that have appeared more than a few times in the film series. Which one would you rather do?

Skiing offers views and the thrills of speed on a winters day. Scuba offers the sights of beauty under the sea.

Which activity would you rather engage in?
  • Skiing. I suck at swimming.

My heart says scuba, I would love to see Bond in a beautiful turquoise ocean , but my brain says Skiing would be more exciting. The solution, do both!

What an evil question! ;-) I love skiing, but have a fear of hights which makes it very difficut to do so, and I love the underwater world, but due to pressure problems have never been able to dive deep. SO I'll go for waterskiing ;-)

I tried scuba diving when I was in my early 20s, and not being a confident enough swimmer, panicked just below the surface. Haven't skied before - or even seen snow so gotta choose that. But only if I can wear a bright yellow suit and red beanie.

    Nice job with that one!

Lets jump over to the TV specials that featured our man in a clip package. They were dressed up with either comments from stars of the day or had a host that was somehow connected to the series.

Would you rather watch Happy Anniversary double-o-7 OR The World of 007

Happy Anniversary double-o-7 we have the meta experience of Roger Moore hosting the show and playing Bond between the bumpers of clips. The special was a vehicle to hype audiences for the new picture starring Timothy Dalton and was released in 1987. The joy of seeing Roger play Bond again is quite a scene and makes the special even more enjoyable. It was an extra on the DVD for The Living Daylights.

    OR

The World of 007! Hosted by Elizabeth Hurley, this special was meant to hype Goldeneye. Hurley is the hostess with the mostess and plays up the glamour and beauty of the film series. The clips are fast and furious and show some of the best scenes of the series to date while also giving a small taste of what was to come with GE. This is found on the DVD special features for GE.

Which one are you watching if given a choice?

    Man, I love this:

One of the great gifts that a Bond fan could receive, so this.

Even though I do love seeing Roger presenting, or rather, guiding us through the series, I find it a bit.. missing a bit of depth. The World of 007! is more of a documentary, which I prefer. And of course, Elizabeth doesn't do it harm.. at all....

Good stuff, I enjoy both specials. The one with Roger is a slightly ahead for me as I love the part where he is in the library and they play the DAF clip and he asks for information on diamonds. Wonderful stuff. Amazing how much has changed, libraries aren't as vital to research as they once were.

On to our next one submitted by @TheSkyfallen06

Would you rather Bond 26 feature fanciful gadgets OR realistic ones?

Been a while since we had mini-rebreathers, pills that can lock in locations, and watches that could deflect bullets with magnetic force. Might be fun to embrace that world again.

On the other hand, the Craig era showed us gadgets that seemed to be real-life and not too fanciful. So perhaps we should stay on this tack.

What you would rather see in Bond 26?

Realistic gadgets and use them sparingly.
