The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, The Conversation, and Apocalypse Now are all comfortably positioned in my all-time favorite movies list. Definitely the king of the 70s. Beyond that, all I’ve seen so far is The Outsiders, The Godfather Part III, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and The Rainmaker, and I don’t feel too strongly one way or another about any of those ones. I feel like I need a full filmography marathon someday.

Anyone seen Megaopolis yet? I’ve heard mixed things but I want to check it out.

I remember being numb and feeling cold, immediately I finished watching Apocalypse Now years back. What a great war film!

To think in the 70s, he cowrote the screenplay to Patton, and help produce American Graffiti. Both help add greatness to his unmatched 70s career.

I have. It's ambitious. There are flaws, but I liked it compared to most. It definitely feels like a future cult-following film. A good mix of old and younger stars. No one is wasted. It's sad that I can count on my fingers and toes how many people showed up to my theater for it.
