Hey, vote that way if you like, @Emilio, but if you do I'll take from it 10 points to Ken Adam and that alone - wouldn't be fair on anyone else if I didn't surely...? ;)

Sir Ken is a genius for his work on the Bond’s. He gave the earlier films a sense of scale. He’s up there with Connery, Young and Barry for his contribution to the series.

So, once again, and completely unsurprisingly, we have a walk-away winner of an event. Yup, Sir Ken Adam's the top Bond production designer according to you lot - and quite rightly too. After all, he did build the inside of a volcano and had the world's biggest film studio made so he could build the inside of a tanker.
Taking the silver is another long-serving and hugely deserving, intimate member of the 'Bond Family', Peter Lamont, who along with Adam is a true legend of production design. And the bronze goes to the sadly recently deceased Syd Cain, who brought both mid-'60s and early '70s style and swank to his 007 efforts.
Elsewhere, in a very tight fight for fourth place, QOS's Dennis Gassner just comes out ahead of Golden Gun's Peter Murton and TND's Allan Cameron, while trailing in last - and surely unfairly given his wonderfully diverse work for CR '67 - is Michael Stringer.
As to the queries why NSNA's designers weren't on the list, yep, fair point, but when you take a look at the Medal Table, would there've been a hell of a lot of point including them (given they'd surely have not affected the outcome of the event and, well, are English)...? ;)

Yup, despite Germany entering the fray thanks to Ken Adam's inevitable gold medal (putting them straight into joint fourth place along with Scotland), it's England that's the big winner from this event - again. With a second place (another silver), a third place (another bronze), a fifth, a sixth and a seventh place from the contest, England really rule the roost. Can anyone genuinely catch them now?
In other news, a decent fourth place-finish sees Canada (who boast a useful looking team of competitors across other events, I might add) get on the board, sharing seventh place with Italy as they now do.
And Event 5 coming right up, folks...! :)
The competitors:
Amsterdam (DAF)
Las Vegas (LALD)
New York City (LALD)
'San Monique' (LALD)
New Orleans and the Louisiana Bayou (LALD)
Hong Kong (TMWTGG)
Bangkok and Phuket (TMWTGG)
Mount Asgard (Parachute jump) (TSWLM)
Cairo and Giza (TSWLM)
Sardinia (TSWLM)
Underwater sequences (TSWLM)
Venice (MR)
Rio de Janeiro and Iguaçu Falls (MR)
So, the task is simple... please arrange your choice of eight competitors from the thirteen above into your favoured ordering - first to last (greatest to least) in terms of their contribution to the cinematic James Bond.
Voting for this event should remain open for about a week, after which the results and the updated Medal Table will be posted in this thread (as well as in the thread's opening post).
Oh, and just a reminder - when you do vote, please vote in this manner, chaps (as outlined in the thread's opening post); makes it a hell of a lot easier for me when I'm totting up the totals... ;)
