I was re-reading your lovely dialogue @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 and re-watching the snippets and you know what?
I think Watson might have actually punched Holmes!
If no him, someone else did!

Such great news for Benedict! It really couldn't have gone to anyone more deserving; what a bright future he will have, already a massive star in his own right. I look forward to enjoying his massively impressive work for many, many, many years to come.

@Sandy, Sherlock does have a busted lip in the BBC clip montage, yes. If he did get popped, I'd wager it was Watson. That's what I love about Martin's Watson; he is much more steeled and holds his own against Holmes than the Watson of the canon, not giving Sherlock an inch. While Watson just faints in Empty House, I think BBC's Watson will have a much more, uh... "aggressive" reaction when Sherlock walks in the door. Needless to say, their reunion is going to be the greatest moment in television history, and that isn't even me being hyperbolic. ;)

Hello, my fellow Sherlock fans! On deviantart today I found a journal asking for support on a project people have proposed for LEGO that involves creating BBC Sherlock LEGO sets. To support the project and to find out more about it, all you have to do is sign up and click support on this page here:

We couldn't pull that off. But it would be great if we could!
Very funny. Especially if we could see their reactions. ;)

In his contentious cat and mouse game against Moriarty he was constantly proclaiming that he isn't "on the side of the angels" and that heroes don't exist, yet he proves (though rather inadvertently) that he does do heroic things and helps the greater good at the end of the day by being a consulting detective. He risked his own life to protect others in his way, and did so willingly. If that isn't a hero, I have no idea what is.
He's heroic all right. True heroes tend not to self-identify as such. They are only too aware of their own failings. It's left to others to recognize their heroic actions.

btw love the SF nod. I am talking about the picture of course. Nice touch!

Thanks, @timmer! It was a nice collective idea amongst us all that was fun to create. :)

An old friend of mine just posted this on FB, might give it a go when I have time.
The site reacts so fast that I got sloppy and got only 91%. I feel ashamed.

I finished it, also got 91%. You're right, it's so fast!
Since I just finished revisiting this wonderful show, I thought I'd give this a go and ended up with:

I only wish I could see the ones I missed, though I have a feeling of at least one or two of the four. And what were you two talking about it being fast? Was there a timer or something on it?

Well @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, I decided to give it another go as well and got the same as you. What we meant about being fast is that we didn't realize that by clicking the answer we couldn't change it. At least that is what I think.

Ah, now I get it. Yes, you had to be sure of your answer before you clicked, haha.

    You okay, mate?

Usually with these online quizzes you have to wait for a few seconds at least after you clicked on an answer for the next question to pop up. In this case, as soon as you click on an answer, immediately the next question pops up. That made me a bit sloppy, because I clicked away while at the same time beginning to review my answer choices in my head ;-).

I was speaking with @4EverBonded about A Scandal in Bohemia and Belgravia in the other Sherlock Holmes thread, and thought I would also post this video here that has Moffat, Gatiss, Benedict, and Lara discussing the episode.

According to Radio Times not on the BBC till early next year, can't wait probably the best series the BBC have made in a decade.

Late this year or early next. The first Sunday free is 15th December in the UK. It could be then. And it airs in the US from 19th January.

More Series 3 images next week say Radio Times.

What the hell are the BBC playing at? How can the US confirm the air date whilst we have to be left hanging in the wind to find out when we'll get to see it?

The BBC confirm air dates up to two weeks in advance, this has and always will be the case. In the US it's up to a month in advance. That's why this has happened.

The UK will still see it first. Panic over.

Yeah, and us poor Germans have to wait till April or so, and then it´s only the dubbed version. Good thing I already placed my order on amazon.

Thanks @Sandy, but since the dvd/br probably again will be released a few weeks after airing, I guess I´ll just be a tough guy and sit it out ;-).

Seriously, the dvd comes out that quickly? I had no idea. I need to order it now, too! Because here in Japan , it would honestly be another 6 months or even longer that we would get it.

It'll be out on DVD up to two weeks after the last episode airs. One plus of the UK, unlike America where you'll have to wait for months on end.

Well, it could be some time in France too, the time the stories are translated and dubbed (although, if all goes well, we should get the choice of languages when it airs on France 4, and later on France 2). Still, I'm really impatient to see at least the first episode.

We get - months and up to a year later - a dvd that gives you English as a choice, or dubbed into Japanese, or with/without subtitles. But the wait is ridiculous. I'll order from the UK asap.

I will likely watch the episodes by any mean necessary right when they arrive (since the internet loves to spoil everything for me), then hopefully find a better resolution somewhere or buy them in shop. I have searched and searched for blu-ray copies of the series, but only find DVDs everywhere I go. I hate to take the Amazon route, because their shipping is horrendously costly. Though, I do think you get free shipping on orders over $25 dollars, which the set of both series on blu-ray may cost. I'll have to look more into it.
