    Who would win? Dalton. How? He burns down the arena while the other 5 Bonds are getting ready for battle.

    Looks a bit like someone from The Sweeney. That said Craig's had similar poses so I can't complain.

    Nah, I think you're just desperately looking for something to criticise him for here.

    That looks pure Bond. Just, just look at him. I'm guessing this is what he would've looked like in his never made Bond film. He should've had that hair while he was playing Bond, suits him better.

    This pic is also proof Bond needs to smoke again.

    I never said it was a bad pic, just looks a bit like a shot for a tv drama. What was it taken for anyway?

    Just his manner. The scruffy way he's wearing the tie and the way the ciggy is hanging from his mouth (is that cig real or is it photoshopped?) He looks like a detective from a police show.

    That picture was taken on set of Dalton's 3rd Bond film, The Property Of A Lady (1994). ;)


    He looks like a detective from a police show? Dalton was badass enough to make The Sweeney cry, so you could be right.

    Do what, make The Sweeney cry? I didn't say he did, I said he was badass enough to do so. Reagan & Carter would not have stood a chance. And i'm talking about the original Sweeney, not the remake.

    I don't mind admitting that I would not even want to fight a drunken Ollie Reed. Even at my current age (26) and physical condition, if I was face-to-face with a drunken 61 year old Ollie, I would do a 180 and run away.

    Meh, in fairness I probably would too (I'm the same age as you and even Rog or Pierce could probably beat me up) :(

    In fairness to Dalts he has had some more "movie star" photo's in his career. Its just THAT one looks like it came from a gritty drama IMO

    I think the most convincing onscreen fighter of all is Daniel Craig. He looks like he really could hand you your spleen. However this has more to do with up to date camera work and top notch fight choreography. Seeing them all in other films and measuring up their personalities, height, weight, build, and life background, I find it hard to believe any of these lads could stand up to Master Connery..

    I have got to disagree old chap. The blonde thing was never an issue for me, and Casino Royale was superb. QOS is not as good, but still a decent film. I think Skyfall will see him back on form.

    Daniel Craig would be the last man standing. Roger Moore would be ousted first and pretty quickly. His raised eyebrow and quips won't help him here. Then Pierce Brosnan would go...his pretty faces would be knocked all to hell. Then Connery, wiley SOB that he is, him, Dalton, Lazenby and Craig would be one hell of a squabble. Timothy Dalton, Daniel Craig and George Lazenby are just a bit more physical than ol' Sean, so... Then Dalton would be out - Lazenby just doesn't mess around. Craig would then beat down Lazenby with a ferocity that's kind of terrifying to behold. Lazenby, bloodied but standing, samples some fine Royal Beluga Caviar (from north of the Caspian, of course) as he stumbles out of the picture. Daniel Craig, face all cut up (must be a day that ends with "y"), stands victorious.

    God, I feel like an 8 year old in a playground debate...who's tougher..

    That's the thing, lots of people seem to be picking Craig but he has a huge advantage: modern film making. Today there's better fight coreography, camera work, etc.

    I still reckon Lazenby would win. He won the part because of a fight test, he taught hand to hand to the Aussie military, he was mates with Bruce Lee, etc.
