The other day, I met an actor called Richard Coyle who worked with Gemma Arterton (Quantum of Solace) in the film Prince of Persia. I managed to ask him how she was to work with, in which he replied that she was "a total Essex girl, who like to talk about and laugh about everything around her". He is also very good friends with Johnny Depp, and he joked that he was going to put him on "loud speaker", but he thought better of it...

I've also learnt that one of my uncles friends is friends with a woman who was one of Octopussy's girls, who were part of the raid on Kamal Khan's Palace.

And one of my friends managed to get a personalised autograph from Daniel Craig (saying happy birthday!) via his sister! The autograph is on a still from Skyfall, during the Shanghai assassination scene. I must say, jealousy is to put it mildly!

These are my tenuous links to the Bond franchise!

That's cool. There was a kid I knew in my elementary school class who had a grandfather or some other relation that was one of the divers in the ending sequence of Thunderball that gets harpooned.

@MayDayDiVicenzo, I can understand that. I only jumped the gun and sent him my case because I read from a few people online that the best way to get authentic autographs via mail is when actors are via venue, such as doing plays on Broadway. It was worth the risk, that's for sure.

Lit think I might do it, then! I going to write a letter to Sir Rog as well, due to @fromswedenwithloves success in receiving a reply.

@MayDayDiVicenzo, there you go! Let us know how the letter to Sir Rog works. I was thinking about doing the same thing. As for Craig, you may have to wait a while and see if he ends up doing more Broadway, because his latest Broadway work is finished, from what I know. I think the address I used was good until January.

Anyone here a hockey fan or are watching the Stanley Cup playoffs? My team tonight is facing game 7 and the sports radio guys I listened to compared the rival coach to a Bond villain. They played the James Bond theme and all. I also remember a couple of years ago in the playoffs, they had the same discussion about another coach and I totally agree he could be a Bond villain (Guy Boucher, former Tampa Bay Lightning coach):

On a side note, I was reading IGN's batsuits through the years and I didn't know MGW's dad played batman in those 1940s serials. I was so surprised.

71 years after she was Hitlers maid , 89 yr old Elisabeth Kalhammar reveals how the Fuhrer was in private.

She has never spoken to the press but now breaks her silence to the Salzburger Nachrichten.

Should we believe the Austrian woman then AH was a sweet tooth who liked to eat cakes in the middle of the night : for example chocolate cake or scones with cream.

She says it was Hitlers woman Eva Braun who was the boss at home in his private summer residence (villa Berghof) and all 23 employees was to greet ms Braun with "heil noble woman" and the rules of the house were strict.

Hitler refused to talk to employees other than those who had worked there the longest. It was only the most experienced servants who had access to his private room.

There was an incident where she broke a teacup , this was deducted in the form of less time off for her.

Kalhammar says that Hitler had big problems with his spleen and had to go on a strict diet and had a cook who was responsible for the food at the Berghof and that would ensure that AH got the proper nutritious food.

Every night employees had to make an apple pie with nuts and raisins , ready for Hitler's night feast.

"They were to think but not talk"

Kalhammar (then called Elisabeth Marchtrenkerin) got the job after responding to a job advertisement in the local newspaper.

She had no idea that it was AH who was the employer but she got the job on the day.

Berghof was leveled by a bomber April 25th , 1945.

She says that her mother warned her about taking the job but Elizabeth did not dare to say no.

Many said I should be grateful to have gotten the job.

I felt dizzy when I arrived , the house was full of guests and then suddenly the Fuhrer was there , she says.

I've studied Hitler and the 3rd Reich for a good few years now and she is accurate in most things, except :

    1) It wasnt his spleen that he had trouble with,it was indigestion, stomach disorders and flatulance, caused by his strict vegetarian diet (his choice, you couldnt force the Fuhrer to go on a diet if he didnt want to),and the 'remedies' and vitamin cocktails made by Dr Morrell (his physician) some of which contained radioactive material and mercury.

2)They didnt have an apple pie every night, his favourite was an apple cake, which he loved to eat as often as possible.

3)The Berghof and the other buildings as well as Bormann,Goering and Goebbels villas were destroyed by a squadron of Mosquitos and Lancaster bombers on 25th April...5 days before Hitler and his new wife,Eva Hitler commited suicide in the bunker.

Yes , I am well aware he was vegan and flatulence issue.

It's apples in both , makes no difference to me......bottom line he was a sweet tooth.

She worked for him , don't ask me what's true or not.......just an article I came over.

@Artemis81, I was watching until my team lost in Game 7. Who's your team? I'll root for them (unless they lost in Game 7 or if I have a good reason to hate them ;-))

I actually have a good friend who is gay and a nazi as well. Or national socialist as he prefers to call it. The SS were mostly gay any way, so not as strange as you might believe.

Are you F*%#ing kidding me? This disgusts me so much. How can that asshole be more important than the victims of that tragedy.... It's stories like this that make me lose more and more faith in humanity. This and kids are now learning "White Privilege." In schools.

Yeah I guess Super Joe needs more money since John McCain doesn't talk about him anymore. This is why I don't watch news. It's always about some asshole with an agenda and a big bloated opinion.
