Is it technically spam if this is a free discussion? Truth be told, I just posted it to see the reaction.
Free DISCUSSION. You weren't continuing any discussion and you didn't bring anything up to talk about. You posted just to see the reaction?
    8-|

Actually, when you look at my post, I did.
    I'm sitting at a computer.

This could potentially be a discussion. We're all sitting at a computer, of varying types, with varying surroundings. Some of us are in the home office. Some are in the bedrooms. Some are in the library. Some at in dorm rooms. Some are in apartments. Some of us are using PCs. Some are using Macs. Some are using Windows. Some are using Linux (maybe). Some are on Windows XP. Some are on Windows Vista. Some are on Windows 7. Some may still even be on Windows 98. Some of us are using desktops. Some of us are using laptops. Some of us are using tablets. Some of us are using iPads.

Think about this sort of stuff, there's billions of breeds of discussion just floating around in there. And I posted to see the reaction because I knew what the reaction would be: you, in a way, overreacted. As this is free discussion, you saw something that you assumed could not be a discussion, was not a discussion, would never be a discussion, and you felt it was dragging down the thread by the comment's very existence. On the contrary, you have proved yourself wrong.
RANDOM COMMENT I'm sitting at a computer. Felt like sharing that.

This is the kind of useless spam that gets a thread like this taken down. Let's have proper discussion and show the mods we can retain a conversation without reverting to random comments with no connection to any interesting topics.

This started the discussion. Right now, we're discussing whether or not my original post was spam. Therefore: discussion.

You are the kind of person that makes me want to disappear off the face of this earth.

Why is that? I meant no insult, I was merely showing you a different path.

Calm down, people. We meant to have an organized thread. So let's do it.

RANDOM COMMENT: Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones is an incredible song! Just heard it on the radio a minute ago and nearly flipped out, because I love that song, especially when it comes on the radio.
Yes, and one of the only Stones songs I can stand.

Really? I love The Rolling Stones! Their other songs like "Brown Sugar", "Start Me Up", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Honky Tonk Women", "Beast of Burden", and "Miss You" are regularly played on my MP3 player!

Epiphany! I also love "Under My Thumb".

Whenever I play the Hitman games, I play James Bond music to fit the mood of the Levels. :D

Sorry, I don't mean to sound prude. Some of their stuff I find ok, but they just aren't my cup of tea. I don't hate them with a fervent passion, it just isn't much what I enjoy listening to. I came on a little strong initially.

Oh no, that's not what I meant, hahaha, I just didn't understand your comment! I know what epiphany means but I don't understand it in the context of your post, hahaha.

I can't find any other place to share this, but everyone should go and search "where is Chuck Norris" on Google ASAP, and click on the first link. :))
  • This is where all that damn nonsense talk should of been included recently instead of on a serious remembrance thread for 9/11 victims that got closed down the last week or two. This is, after all, the place for miscellaneous (anything goes, non Bond related) talk as I understand

I just had a coffee with two sugars incidentally

I don't think Craig is on here, but I think JamesPage is mgw.

How on earth does a man could produce a huge budget film and manage a website, forum an magazine at the same time? And why would an EON board member would include unofficial movies of his franchise on his website?
Yes it is an incredible song! And I so want this to be in a Bond movie somewhere -; it is moody, sexy, and menacing all at the same time. (Which reminds me, it was in Layer Cake in one of my favorite parts, DC with Sienna at the hotel). Anyone read Keith Richards autogiography? I enjoyed it so much; it was much better written than I could have hoped for, a great read, an interesting life.

Gimme Shelter is like the official Marty Scorsese song, featured in Casino, Goodfellas and The Departed. But nothing like the scene of Layer Cake, one of my top 10 movies of all time! (And yes, Sienna looked extremely hot in that scene!)

    I agree
and I would like to apologise for taking part in a random chat on the rememberence thread. I went there to read the posts and ended up in a discussion that should have moved straight away to this thread....but it does appear a lot of time that certain threads move in all directions when people bring up a certain subject...

    ok. BACK ON TOPIC.

While we're on the subject of just about anything, how about we talk about this:

I think this merits hours of discussion.

..OH..OK..Thanks for that. The way I was reading it it sounded like someone was saying that I had 2 accounts and I couldn't work out why that would be or for what reason. Thanks for clearing that up...

The mods should know.. If you back to the early pages of the Skyfall Fan Arts page, someone has switched their art to pornographic photos. You can say it caught me off guard.

I think it's in like the first 10 pages of that thread.. not sure.
  • That would indeed make for a different tone for the SkyFall poster....

  • How interesting-- when you click on the picture that's there- it opens a separate window and suddenly there is the original Bond poster :-/

I was just clicking through that thread, when I saw a mod saying how great the poster was I thought I was just seeing things because I was tired, so it's nice to know I'm fine :)
well, except porn. And that has happened.

I love how the same day this was posted, it happened again! :)) Conspiracy!!!
