EDIT: Tampa Bay with a comeback to take Game One over Detroit, and my boys crush the Rangers and tally up five goals. Excellent! Looking forward to seeing how the rest of this Blues/Blackhawks game goes, over halfway through now and it's still 0-0.
Speaking of other monumental sports moments last night, even though I don't follow basketball, Kobe Bryant played his last game, netting 60 points and the game winner, and the Golden State Warriors won their final game last night, putting them at 73-9 for the entire season, beating the 1995-1996 Bulls season record of 72-10.
As far as basketball goes, I could care less. Never got into it that much. I'll watch the NCAA tournament and maybe some of the NBA finals, just depends on who's in it. I cant sit through a season or game just knowing that Golden State will just run away with everything. Its predictable garbage IMO
Also, what're your thoughts on Game 3 between the Caps/Flyers? That's some of the most classless behavior I've ever seen in my life.
Never posted my bracket, but this is how I had it laid out (don't have all the details, couldn't save it so I had to take a picture of it on my phone, but not all of the information is within frame): for the first round, I have Dallas in five, St. Louis in seven, Anaheim in five, L.A. in seven, Washington in five, Pittsburgh in four (overly cocky and optimistic of me), Florida in four (again), and Tampa Bay in six.
That it is, some of the most hypocritical fans I've seen. Of course, that's not the entire fan base and the actions don't speak for all of them, as I've managed to talk to a few fans who are pretty kind and cool.
You don't know how happy I was to watch that Penguins game last night: take a 3-1 lead after, ended up winning BOTH games at Madison Square Garden, and in both, the Pens played a rookie goal, who in six periods total at MSG, let up just one goal, ending last night with a shutout, a playoff first for a rookie goal. Malkin's big scoring return with 2G/2A was also wonderful.
Stars in 7
Ducks in 6
Washington in 7
Tampa in 5
With that being said, I wont be surprised in Pittsburgh wins in 6.
