I liked it too. :) I thought Jeremy Renner was awesome and a worthy replacement to Matt Damon.
Like with Die Hard 5, just switch off your brain and don't let yourself think of the previous 3 Bourne films/4 Die Hard films. If you start comparing them, you will be disappointed. Best to treat it as it's own animal, and IMO 'Legacy' was a pretty cool action flick.
I was able to shut off my brain for JW, and enjoyed it a lot. I wouldn't have enjoyed it so much if I had compared it to JP's 1 to 3, because it's not as good, especially compared to the first 2.
I'll try to watch it again with a fresh pair of eyes sometime.
But it kind of defeats the object, doesn't it? Of course it's going to compared to its predecessors, its in the same darn series! Film B (or, in this case, film D) would not exist without film A. It was titled The Bourne Legacy, not The Bourne Non Sequitur.

No. There going to make Bourne 5 now with Damon. The movie with Renner is delayd, so it possible there wil use Bourne 6 for a meet up of the two already or another Aaron Cross movie before there meet together in Bourne 7.

Great news. This is going to knock it out of the park next year. I'm sure of it.
He is a great actor and makes amazing villains.
Bond family member/stunt coordinator-second United directer Simon Crane wil be second united directer. For Bourne it wil possible closer to QOS, MIB3 (Some very Casino Royale releated action), Mrs And Mrs Smith, Tomb Raider or/and Salt. Stunt Coordinator wil be Gary Powell, who be more on front as Stunt Coordinator since Casino Royale but also working already on Bond for long time as stunt guy.
DOP/Cinematopgrapher: Barry Ackroyd (The Hurt Locker, Captain Philips, Green Zone, Contraband) The cinematopgraphy of Contraband is great.
Production Designer: Paul Kirby (Art department of Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies,DAD, The Four Feathers. Production designer of Kingsman, Captain Phillips and Lee Tamahori's Devil's Double.)
Art Directer: Mark Scruton (The Bank Job, Gravity, Fury)
The editor isn't confirmd yet, but i think it wil be Christopher Rouse. The editor of The Bourne Supremacy/Ultimatum, Captain Philips, Green Zone and some other projects from Greengrass.
Brilliant choice for a villain! :-bd
Damon's comments interest me. I think the Vegas location alone could give it a whole different feeling to the previous movies (which took place almost entirely in grey, usually European cities, in fact one of the reasons I appreciated Legacy was the increase in location variety), which I think is important if they want to make it a long running franchise.
I thought Legacy was a good film, but the series was never gonna be able to carry on properly without Bourne. And now not only do we have the character back we have Damon back in the role too, I personally couldn't be happier.
