I wasn't really aware of any of his work before Bond, maybe he just should of steered clear of this area in hindsight
Holly crap!?! We do share some tastes. Some, not all. But still...
Only one more question out of topic, as a Raiders fan, what did you think of Indy4? Oh, and Senna is just awesome. And so is The Mission (the other one...1986)
;)
I hate Indy 4.
Cheers...my friend. =D>
Goes to show me there´s always some common ground between peple ;)
I'm the first to give credit when credit is due. Same goes for travesty... How can a topic on DAD not invoke wiping one's rear end?
My my, what civility! It's nice to see.
Hey, someone who hates Indy4 can´t be all that bad.
No, giving credit is what HapHazard does. He's certainly no Brosnan fan but he's certainly a little fairer than you are ;) You're just...harsh :p
And this is the PC, General Admission version too ;)

i watched QOS three times- once in the cinema in 2008- walked out disapointed, Once on DVD at My Friends in 2009 and One time at home- in 2010 i hated it so much...but ofcourse i hated Die Another Day back in 2002 but found it more enjoyable now
I respect everyone's opinion on here, and their love for certain Bond films over others.... but when i think of "proper Bond films", i think of From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, The Living Daylights...... some how, for me, Die Another Day just doesn't fit anywhere in those films...
He'd win the gold medal. wi
There's nothing wrong in being able to show a Bond film to an 8 year old. In fact I think its quite sweet for kids being allowed to see a Bond film alongside their parents. Most people get their initial exposure to Bond as a kid.
IMO Moore in TMWTGG is one of the most flemingesque performance in the franchise. About Brosnan in DAD - he's acting in that film is simply a huge middle finger directed at TWINE, where he acted all melodramatic, wussy, like a 'trained theater actor' with all his gesture and hilarious (if not cringe-worthy) body-language... Frankly I much prefer the much more serious, fun, no-bullsh*t acting he gave in DAD over TWINE anyday. Brosnan seemed much more relax, strong, authoritary in DAD than his OTT performance in TWINE.
Watch Haphazard's review for a good analysis of his performance.
The castle ???!!!!!

http://screenmusings.org/TheWorldIsNotEnough/pages/TWinE_0264.htm <-- way too melodramatic from Bond
http://screenmusings.org/TheWorldIsNotEnough/pages/TWinE_0266.htm <-- again OTT reaction to the extreme
http://screenmusings.org/TheWorldIsNotEnough/pages/TWinE_0282.htm <-- why so condenscending on Dench ?

Nothing wrong with those.
I make gestures like that when I think and ponder. Stop overreacting.
lol can't you see he's wiping her tear on a computer screen ? =))
And no I'm not overreacting. If I was, I would have posted the funny faces he pulls in the Thames chase.
Yes I can see it. And??
I love the huge smile Brosnan has on his face when he pushes the wheelchair, and his only line of dialogue is 'gracias !'
Nothing, I'm saying it's un-Bond to the extreme. A totally OTT reaction from 007.
I didn't think it was all that bad but there we go.
Bond wouldn't say "I have no armour left, you've stripped it from me" either but no one cares about that.
I do - I hate that line.
