Brosnan was the perfect successor to Moore and should IMO have been Bond from 1987 to 2008. I really like DAD, though. And I really like your favorite Brosnan movie, TND.
I agree, he could to anything. And his movies ranged from good to great. So why is he so hated here? Only Moore is better IMO.
Which was great because it did get us the two best Bond movies in the franchise!
Since you and I are friends, I´m not gonna comment on the last statement.:)
Perhaps you remember what I think of CR?
And I think Brosnan would have done a fifth, and then quit. That could have happened while we at the same time could get the reboot. EON should have been a movie, released in 2004.
I would loved to see a fifth Brosnan movie that would be instead of Everything or Nothing, and then Craig comes into the franchise for Casino Royale as normal.
That would have been great for most people, wouldn´t it?
And about CR, I like Craig and some parts. But I have some major issues with it. I won´t repeate them, cause that might cause an earthquake here. ;)
No offense, but that is utterly preposterous. DAD especially is a Bond film of the highest level.
DUD, LOL=)) Good name, just like Crappino Boreale.
Please don't upset me at this time of the day
;)
I can compare Brosnans look in DAD as Moores look in FYEO. Quite masculine and had some authority i think. A great Bond look!
Brosnan looks great in DAD. He look about 45, which is a good age for Bond. Moore in his last movies looked much older.
Moore in AVTAK did scared me as a child. And he still does :-(
Look at the scene when he first meets Moneypenny and says "The trip back from Siberia took alot out of me". He is starring like a creep or a psycho or something.
And the scene with MayDay in the bed, which basiclly looks like two guys rooling around in the bed..
My sister once came into my room when I watched that. She was like "What? Bond is about to sleep with a man!.
Moore said that he needed several years of mental help after that. He just wants to forget it.
Hahaha i don't blame them!
Since he never had a good physical action scene, (a travesty from the producers.) TND would have shown us the tough Tim. I can imagine him saying in his deep voice, "It wouldn't look like a suicide if you shoot me from overthere".
In TWINE he would've shown us his more sensitive and romantic side which we saw in certain scenes of TLD, only to kick Renard's arse in the end. This story required a bit more acting from Bond , but with Dalton's comfort in the role, I'm sure he would've nailed it, plus it would have reunited him with Robbie Coltrane.
DAD I would leave to Brosnan, since he was soo good in it. It feels like a stand alone movie anyway, so this would 've been his OHMSS, not to say that they're in the same category.
