For a long time I thought the same, but then I re-watched the dinner table scene. Thats better than anything in DAD/
My bottom 3
21. Golden Gun
22. Die Another Day
23. Diamonds are Forever
That's the one good thing about Golden Goose but not enough to save it from the rest of the trash. Goodnight makes it unwatchable.
I'd rather watch Bond and M's conversation on the Naval Ship.
My Bottom 3

Oh no doubt about Christopher Lee. He's the best part of the movie, but sadly the bad outweighs the good in terms of TMWTGG. DAD has equal amounts of Good and Bad so it balances out.
I don't mind the Ferris Wheel scene, but another that does come to mind is the scene with Sanchez being interrogated by Kelifer and the other DEA agent:
"Godammit...you think you're in some banana republic? All that scum bag money won't do you a bit of good here"
Hilariously bad acting :))
I thought the Dalton films had some funny moments even though they were more serious than most of them. I think both of Daltons funniest moments were in LTK: When he tells the posh British agent to piss off and when he says "I hope you don't snore Q".
"Is this a dream"?
"I've only known you for two days and all I can think about is how we can be together".
"Don't think, just let it happen"
Who was writing this stuff? Wilson? It was terrible but highly amusing.

Your resilience does you credit.
That's actually a great line one could use.
I have no problem with the Ferris Wheel scene in TLD. It was very well done, IMO.
In LTK, Killifer's lines was overdone, but I see no problem with it. The character was working for Sanchez, so the characters bad delivery was actually good acting on the part of McGill. The character delivered the lines poorly because he was working for Sanchez and the character Killifer was not a good actor, not McGill.
I think so. :)
I agree. I shall blame him for making my favourite 21st Century Bond movie.
EON does as well as they let this piece of cr*p reach the cinema's instead of stepping back and do some more work on it.
Agreed !!
Seriously seat-squirmingly embarrasing.
If i ever watch TLD (which isnt very often at all) i fast forward through that.
And he deserves a life sentence for it.
You may not think it's funny, but you're decidedly in the minority. In every thread on Bond humor and wit, DAF runs the table. And Tiffy and the moonbuggy need not be a laff riot for the film itself to be. I mean, it's still a Bond film, not Mel Brooks, you know.
As to the plot, nobody denies that it is lacking. But that lack is nothing compared to the ultimate farce, in every respect, that is DAF. Frankly, I'm surprised anybody would dare argue that DAD isn't the very worst. Then again, perhaps I'm not.
Well, there's no accounting for taste. Or its lack.
