Defo. She's the least attractive and least interesting Craig Bond girl.
Least attractive...I don't agree with
I also don't like the disco music in some of the action scenes. It feels completely out of place. This might work in Saturday night live but here it takes away all the intensity and it is too lighthearted and lacks any power. Conti's action score in FYEO was at least meorable and powerfull (especially during the car chase) whereas Hamlish's action score is too relaxed and cool which takes away all the danger.
It's a pretty bad one—still Norman's Dr. No muscles it out for the un-covetable spot of #1 worst.
So, sure, I guess it's marginally controversial to say TSWLM is a worse score than Dr. No, but not quite so much as saying Goldfinger or OHMSS is the worst score.
Here's one I'd like to test the waters with, however...
The Man with the Golden Gun aside, From Russia With Love is my lowest ranked Barry score. Controversial? Non-controversial?
:-O
To some extent I agree. The silence toward the end of TSWLM really is very grating.
But better than any of Barry's others, barring Golden Gun?
I feel the same way about TMWTGG. Also different and unique for Barry.
YOLT, OHMSS, DAF, FYEO, AVTAK, TLD, GE, TND, TWINE, DAD.
Yes, I love the early Arnold stuff. I actually prefer it to CR and QoS, but I'm a total philistine when it comes to this kind of thing. :)
My favorite score is actually maybe GE now. :)
The action scoring on the other hand, is sub-par, though we do get one fantastic track from John Altman in the middle of the film. I will say this though, Serra manages to inject an enormous amount of personality into the film with his cold-sounding strings used throughout the film.

Miles and miles better than AVTAK. I prefer it to TLD as well.
QOS did not use CR score, even though they are closely linked, while SP has nothing to do with SF.
I felt it was a bit of a cheap cop-out if im honest,in SP.
Exactly how I felt about the score. It was almost like SPECTRE was a workprint copy where music from the previous film was inserted.
